Thank you Morrisons...

Follow on from here

Got back from Morrisons about an hour ago and surprisingly, was a good boy. Could have spent so much morel...

So yeah, now I'm in a pickle...
Too many choices!!

The games were identical to the photos in previous post, 360 and ps3@£25, Wii@£15 (including Mario Kart + Wheel and Brawl) and DS@£12 (including Guitar Hero). Limitations to the deal are that only one title per transaction and a max of five titles per transaction.

*Edit - should point out though, the PC and ps2 games aren't in the offer*

Follows on from previous (and first) post that is here

*recap - Morrisons deal - ALL Chart games, all formats, £12, £15 and £25 price points, one week only - 8th September till the 14th - in original post, thanks for reminding me UglyPhil*

Nipped over to my local Morrisons just now, and sweet talked a very nice worker there into letting me in on the secret. Supposedly they are not letting people know about it and all being kept very hush hush.

Also managed to snag a couple phone cam pics while no-one was looking, though think I did get followed out the store by security... Oh well...

Hopefully these all come out okay, you can see the 360 and PC charts in the second and the psTriple and ps2 in the first.

Release date breaking for the win as well...

Should point out, this was Morecambe store, near the Polo Tower

Cheap chart games...
Triox | 6:50 PM on 09.03.2008 0 comments

Or so I am lead to believe.

Here is the heads up at any rate with a couple of links.

Some of you guys/gals out there will be aware of a great site called HotUKDeals, it is basically a long listing of deals happening online and in UK stores that day or week or whatever. Some of these are extremly shortlived, some of them are a bit pants. Some of them are cracking. This one falls into the latter catorgory.

Cheap chart games

For those not wanting to read through it all, the basic points are these:

* Morrisons doing the deal

* Deal is all CHART games for 360 and psTriple are £25

* Runs from the 8th Sep till the 14th

* That includes new releases that week

* Rumours of £12 and £15 deals as well, these will be for DS and Wii <- Again, RUMOUR on that one

Now, not all Morrisions stock games, and those that do only stock slim numbers, but their "charts" are usually whatever is newly released. I'm going to do a recon to some "local" stores tomorrow and see what they have there at the time and try and get confirmation from one of the store monkies. Will post either a follow up or edit this one when I have more information, but in the mean time, links to Gameplays release dates and the Morrisons "find local store"...

You are here...

My highlight in that is most definately Viva Pinata 2 (best other price), though SoulCalibur IV (best other prices psTriple, 360), Infinite Undiscovery (best other price) and Tiger Woods '09 may get a look in (best other prices psTriple, 360). Who knows, may even pick up Too Human...

Update

Forgot I had no petrol or debit card so couldn't get out. However, I did resort to the phone...

Morrisons customer services had no knowledge of the deal, but said that the next weeks bullitins are only sent out on Fridays so to call back then. However, the original Hotukdeals post has had confirmation by a couple of posters that have, shall we say, proved their statements in the past so here is hoping. They also confirmed that Wii, DS, PS2 and PC games are in the deal, but could only guess at the price point for each. Expect another confirmation/update tomorrow :)
