Alright, basically, this is an old story now. I've seen some one else already blog about, so I wasn't going to really.
However, I decided to do it anyway just to show off the picture I made. It's not great, but it gets the job done. I don't really have too much else to say about JT right now, he's really just gotten to the point that it's hard to really say anything about the guy that hasn't already been said. He's a nut job.
But, yeah, comment if you like anyway. You can tell me how shitty of a job I did with the pic, heh.
hadn't heard the update. he is pretty much out for the count now. every day i hear a story about his level of crazy, and everyday he breaks the old record.....
You should have sended this image to Mr. Scott Johnson of myextralife.com he was doing a photoshop contest ivolving JT... he even got an email from the bastard saying cease and desist.
Yeah, trust me, it's never easy. But, I've built up a slight tolerance to his stupid mug from all of the news I've had to read with a picture of his damn ass next to them.
@ Velt
Yeah, I know all about that. I just didn't think of it really. It didn't enter my mind at all sadly, otherwise I might have. I should have to because I've actually gotten a "cease and desist" from him before when posting on GamePolitics.com.
There was a false Jack Thompson who posted on there and I could tell so I informed the people who were responding to that false one and then afterwards the real one showed up and accused me of being the false Jack Thompson and said that if I did not stop he's be forced to take legal action. I doubted it was him, but Dennis, owner of GP, confirmed it was really him. So I told him to stick his "legal action" up his ass and stick to being a joke to the gaming community.
Anyway, if you like this one check out my earlier blog to see Jack Thompson in his normal attire. It's the one about his gay porn habit. ;)
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. about me
What can I say? Basically, I've been playing video games almost my entire life, currently 25 years old, starting all the way back with the Atari and moving on up over the years. I loved playing with the Atari, but my "hardcoreness", I suppose you could say, didn't really set in until I got a Nintendo Entertainment System.
Super Mario Bros. was great and all, but Mega Man is what solidified my love of gaming, at least that's what stands out the most reminiscing of my childhood of gaming. Also games like Super Mario Bros. 3.
My next console leap was to the Sega Genesis and sometime later I got the Super Nintendo. Super Nintendo was hands down the better of the two consoles in my eyes. The Genesis became an abomination toward the end of it's life cycle. I'd like to claim it was pure hardcoreness that led me to purchase a 32X and such, but honestly it was stupidity, heh.
I skipped the Saturn, wasn't a big fan of Sega at this point and honestly I didn't have any interest in anything on the system. I got a Playstation and eventually a Nintendo 64.
Playstation 2 was next and then eventually a Sega Dreamcast. The Dreamcast was a great system but still ended up failing, which sucks since it ultimately set Sega packing in the console making business. Playstation 2 was great. I got an XBox later and followed much later by a Game Cube.
This generation of consoles I have an XBox 360 and a Nintendo Wii. Both great consoles in their own ways. Don't yet have a PS3, I refused to purchase one until Yakuza 3 was announced for release in the US. It hasn't been officially announced yet, but it's not looking too bad. I may have a PS3 not long from now, but one positive thing about waiting so long is that I'll be able to pick up many great games for low prices if they came out a while ago.
I enjoy a lot of different games and genres. I play a lot of FPS, action/adventure, horror, etc. Love the Resident Evil series, Legacy of Kain series, early Mega Man titles, various wrestling titles, etc.

I'm suprised you could stare at a picture of him long enough to make that.

wow, just wow.
not unlike the first words of the linked article.

I am so tired of this dude.
His teeth make him look a little like Pennywise.
