I've been around the block, and have seen some pirated copies of the game up already.
It's actually a little sad. All it does is justify the annoyance that is ridiculous DRM (I'm looking at you Spore).

Isn't 50% of the appeal coming from multiplayer? How are these cheap chodes going to play online if they can't sign in with a pirated copy?

Yeah, saw it up yesterday. I think it still requires a modded Xbox to play, which bears the risk of getting caught and getting it banned from Live.

I agree with the whole online thing, why steal a game that is really only like 50%....not worth it really.

that's not really an issue with console games.
as was pointed out in one of the main page articles, games are being released later on the PC to combat piracy, and yet FARCRY2, and FALLOUT3 have been pirated for 360 already and the PC versions are nowhere to be seen (although FC2 is on the verge of being cracked as we speak...). 360 piracy is rampant and yet nobody is claiming the 360 is a dying platform becuase of it.
Whatever...The game went gold too early.
The earlier a game goes gold, the more likely it'll end up on trackers well before release date.

I don't think console piracy is as prevalent... i mean, isn't it like a total pain in the ass to mod your console? And especially with a 360, I would hate to void the warranty on that.
