Doom II: Delta-Q-Delta released
Torzelan | 4:41 AM on 08.08.2008 8 comments

Doom II: Delta-Q-Delta is the eleventh free, fan-arranged album by the incredibly talented people at OverClocked ReMix. Eleven artists, two years, thirteen tracks are the stats as far as I gather.

I'm actually not even done downloading yet (grabbing the full torrent which includes FLAC versions of all tracks) but considering how amazing Voices of the Lifestream was, it's probably safe to assume that this is worth the download!

I just got the email too, but you beat me to it. This is fantastic. I was just thinking about buying the id Pack on Steam (every id game from before Quake 4 for $70) and now this comes out. I think I'll be buying the whole pack very shortly.

Yeah I bought the id pack when it was released, certainly a good deal if you don't already own a lot of the stuff or demand physical copies.

What is this just a bunch of hardcore/metal?

Hells yeah. It's not like they're gonna put folk music on a Doom cd. I'm excited.

Downloading right now. Very very awesome.

You say it's the 11th free album from the ocr guys. The first time I read that I thought you meant 11th doom album. Then I though, well there's no way they've released 10 albums since the last time I went to the site (few months ago).

Still not sure where you got 11th album: http://www.ocremix.org/info/Albums

No matter. OCR is awesome and thanks for bringing this to my attention.

A comment here mentioned 11 albums, and they seem to track 11 official album torrents here. Whatever though.

The track I'm liking the best so far would be
13 djpretzel - Red Waltz (Intermission)
It's obvious that he spent as much time (on the cello in particular) as he says himself.

...and I'm seeing 11 albums on the page you linked aswell. I must be missing something.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

 about me

24 y/o dude, Sweden. Passions in life - games, music and the combination of the two. I like to make music and do a little voice acting. Always looking for work that has anything to do with games. [ Protip: Unemployed as of 090701! ] Quite geographically misplaced though, unfortunately. Wouldn't mind moving, as much as I love my apartment.

Although I'm fairly versatile, I'm kind of competitive and mostly play PC FPS games. Like this. Currently spending most gaming time on Quake Live.
