About Me

Doing a lot of videogame music covers (mainly rockin')!

26 y/o dude, Sweden. Passions in life - games, music and the combination / creation of the two. Got a decent little nerd base of my own, but always struggling to stay afloat economically.

Spent super much time as a "competitive" FPS gamer, like this. Have lost the motivation though and found the work/time/headache to fun/reward ratio to be really messed up, so quit that right before newyears '09. Back to the roots - fun games for pure enjoyment! Mega Man fo' lyfe.

Big fan of the Destructoid podcasts. Will never forget you, RetroforceGO!

Couple o' VGM covers (Rygar, MMX, DL)

Sure been guitary this week.

First off, Rygar "Den of Sagila" (/ Sagila's Cave / Underground Cave / whatever people feel like calling it at the time) that I made yesterday in which I quite like how the chuggy guitars came out, really spent time on trying to up my production and sound on those. Bad-ass guitars for a bad-ass track.

Note: No idea what on earth YouTube is up to but the 360p version has good quality sound and the 480p has low quality sound on this one. Totally backwards for some weird reason.

My sleeping is broken these days so this might have been recorded earlier during the same "day" as the Rygar cover (...) and is a Mega Man X track called Variable X. It's also called a bunch of other names, especially when reused later in the series. It was suggested by a YouTuber and is pretty cool so out you go.

Before that, super quick cover of Storm Eagle, also from Mega Man X. Certainly not the least covered track out there, but like Wily Stage 1 from Mega Man 2 it's one of those "you WILL do it sooner or later!" so kind of "got it out of the way" heh.

The Prologue from Dark Lord (NES) is actually a reupload of one of my earliest covers that I'd removed for some reason, might as well toss it in here while I'm at it.

That's it for now with a bunch in the pipelines!

Guitaralizing the Mega Man X Ending (VGM cover)
More Final Fantasy guitarisms (VGM cover)
Happy 19th in advance, Sonic! (VGM cover)
(Short) VGM guitar cover (CV)
VGM guitar cover (KI)
Some (more, short) VGM guitar covers (YAKF, MM3)
Some VGM guitar covers (SSF4, MM2/10, FF6)
