Another piece of work for the blog, this is a concept of a futuristic Super Mario landscape. I want to do something a little less menacing for the Mario & Yoshi piece, but I'm so happy with this one that I had to post it. This is sort of tangentially related to Bowser...the building has his name on it. It's in the same vein as his old lava castles and is spewing black ash and steam, is is built into the side of a volcano.There are also winged Koopas lurking near the lava pits. I'm probably going to do a lot more work with this one, just for fun. I also designed future versions of the SMB3 airships that I would like to do detailed shots of. I hope you like it!

I second the call for Mario/Bowser/additional cast done in this style.

Also, I fucking love this piece. Most castles Mario can clear in a single go, but this could be its own world. Holy shit. I like mature Mario imaginings. Not mature like, oh blood and guts everywhere hyperviolence, but a different take than the happy bright colors we're used to. Something very much like this. Yeah!

I'm totally listening to Testament while looking at this wonderful piece of art, and the more I listen, the more I think they could easily make a really dark, edgy Mario game O__O

Ron: I work in three ways: Cheap, Fast, and Well Done. You have to pick two of those. I can work with just about any budget, so hit me with whatever. The price comes from difficulty, level of detail, size, and cost to print.

hmmmmmmmmmmm..............I really don't know what kind of artwork I would want. I would want something that show's off your individual and unique style. I don't really know man. Do you have all of your art in one location, like a DevientArt or something?
