FINALLY. This fucker took forever to finish, and is probably the heftiest sketch I've done in a very long time. Let me know what you think! Below is my finished sketch, and the official Japanese artwork for comparison. Thanks for all the kind words in the WIP thread! They're very good motivators <3

I'm not very familiar with Final Fantasy XII, but I'm still in love with your art. I can't wait to see what you do with the more common summons, and of course, Atomos.

Thanks Krow! After this week, I'll be doing more of the familiar old school summons like Ifrit, Shiva, and Bahamut.

Any other lesser known ones planned so I can play through those games again and get to know them? It's obvious that you like Final Fantasy XII (or at least it's art style), so would you recommend it to your fellow gamer?

FFXII doesn't seem to get much of a warm welcome here which is a shame, it's a beautiful title and a joy to play. I throughly enjoy the Ivalice universe and I'll probably end up drawing more than just the espers. I highly recommend FFXII if you liked FFT. As for more esoteric summons, they don't really get much more ridiculous looking than the XII ones. That's why I did them first; this is about as hard as it gets in terms of fan artwork for my goal, so if I manage to get through three more espers the rest should be cake.

Noted, I'm bumping this game up on my list of things to play. Keep up the great work Togail, maybe I'll see you around Full Sail if I decide to make that my target university in the next couple of years.

I wasn't a big fan of FF12 just because the battle system really annoyed me but I LOVE the art in that game and you are doing an amazing job on these summons. Keep up the good work!

Your awesome art is REALLY making me want to play through FFXII.

That's amazing-- it's actually SO detailed that I wonder if it wouldn't benefit from a little bit more line-width variation or something to make things stand out, but that's more of a personal preference of mine than a criticism.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with Shiva. Also, Leviathan strikes me as a really fun one to draw, and he often gets overlooked for some reason.
