I was at my local Game Crazy picking up Contra 4 in all it's manly goodness and I spotted this on the wall.

One of the guys, Jim, posed for the picture that I took as proof that the game was indeed in.

I've really only played the demo, I did not have the proper funds to pick up Contra 4 AND a PS3 game but the demo was surprisingly solid. I do believe if you are hurting for a PS3 game right now (and honestly, who owns a PS3 and is NOT hurting for a new game) and if the rest of the game is remotely like the demo, you really can't go wrong with it.

It felt like a bastard child of Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and Gears of War. With 100% less whips though.

me maybe? I've had one since feb 05th 07. i have a grand total of 3 games (warhawk,r&c and resistance). I'll rent it since i don't need another $60 5-8hr experience when I'll probably only play it once.

I hope this game is good and it had better give me 20 hours of good gameplay. If it gives me 10 to 15 hours, it's still a worthy purchase if the game is great. I believe in Naughty Dog, as they really don't make bad games, only good. There is always a high level of polish and high production values in their games, so I am putting my trust in them for a great game.

I picked up my Uncharted today as well, my buddy (who works at gamecrazy) called me and told me they got them in early and there wasn't anything telling them they couldn't sell them early so it was fair game. Just got home so I'll probably pop it in and listen to 1up Yours.

Yeah, there was news of it being in stores 3 days early, which is why I plan to go there later today, armed with 65 bucks.

But Rock Band comes out in a few days. My money is going towards that and tons of DLC.
