True Nature: [Ganon's Fortress]

This was a piece that was intended to be a speed painting but it ended up a little more polished. I had a lot of fun creating it, it took about three hours.

I was inspired by the grandeur of the scene where you first come upon Ganon's Castle. Though, I took quite a few artistic liberties, envisioning it in a more dramatic fashion. Most of the painting was done in one layer. I tend to work simply, then as the piece gets more complex I will add a few layers for details I need to manipulate, which eventually get merged back into the original. I finish with color grading and curves adjustments. Thanks, hope you enjoy! : )
