It's pretty obvious that I have this largely obsessive penchant for collector vinyl toys of every capacity. It must have hit my consumer nerve sometime a few years ago, right around the time
Kid Robot debuted. Since my very first
Gloomy Bear I've managed to fill a whole shelf to the brim with designer toys and plushes. I'm very fond of my collection, and when I marry it will serve as my dowry:
Today low and behold I get a package at my doorstep addressed to Hamsa. "Whut?!" I thought to myself, confused that Hamsa had addressed a package to me. After a few hurried text messages and a phone call Hamsa informed me that it was for me, so I opened it and look what I found!:
That's right, it's a sweet ass imported Kaiju Mini Gargemel toy that I've wanted for a while. Hell YES. This buddy is made of clear vinyl and spray painted blue adn green on the outside. You can take off his head and insert guts of any sort. I decided to name it Hamsa, because Hamsa gave it to me, of course ^^;.
Thanks Hamsa! I put him right next to my Hello Kitty 'Personal Massager' in weird Green Pony Costume on my shelf (a birthday gift from Azereki!). They'll be friends forever, vibrating in tandem till the end of time.

You can go to Super 7 and order them from there. There are some sick nasty imports there but they're pretty expensive.
YES! I got a golden ticket in the first box I ever opened. My friend who introduced me to them almost had a heart attack. After a few visits to Urban Outfitters, I bought 20 blind boxes and pulled 2 more golden tickets.
My co-workers now rub my belly when picking their lotto numbers...
As for the current status of my Golden Tickets, 1 has been redeemed by me, 1 was sold (cheap) to my friend who got me into Dunny's, and the 3rd is listed on eBay!

KidRobot has dissapointed as of late. I think its because they likely promoted their company in the right way so they are at the forefront of their competitors (myplasticheart, giantrobot, etc.).
Yo Gabba Gabba is the shit though. I had no idea that their toys sold out so quickly! I used to be in touch with the Producer after seeing some of their pilots...havn't actually watched much of it since it debuted on air though. Good luck getting your toys though!
