Hello World,

I be a young Canadian gamer, initially unable to experience the wonders of older games beyond that of the Nintendo 64, but I am learning to love the fantastic world of the old school. I keep to myself, mostly because I'm so bloody lazy, but believe me when I have a good thing I will show it off. Though I rarely have a case to show off, you'll see it when it comes up.

As for favourite games, I'll attempt to rattle a few off of my rice paper like mind:

Weird Blizzard Splash Page Gets Weirder

The fifth installment of the Blizzard splash page extravaganza has brought us a extremely alien (Read: Protoss) looking face.

Although there are obviously still more phases to go through before we get the whole story, I think it's safe to say it's at least a very Starcraft related announcement.

Either that, or they're completely fucking with us again.

Why would Blizzard go through this whole daily update thing if it's just more info about a game we already know about?

Also, WoW is Diablo 3.

That's not how Blizzard works though. They wouldn't do this for something that wasn't big. They already said that they were going to announce a new game this weekend at the WWI anyway.

why would they make an update specifically for one unit?

Eh, upon review I concur that perhaps saying it was a new Protoss 'unit' was a bit strange.

I still don't know about the Diablo angle, though. Diablo has always been about hellfire and brimstone, so going to be a completely iced over look is strange. Not to say a new Diablo game wouldn't be fucking amazing.

I found this as well. I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK HERE, I AM ACTUALLY BEGINNING TO THINK IT'S DIABLO!

Also,

Baal, from the Diablo expansion pack, was known to have an affinity for ice, I just found out. Perhaps Baal sealed Diablo away in an ice tomb and now Diablo is ready to choke a bitch.

I just did some homework and figured out my 'ice tomb' theory was a complete sham. I forgot that you destroyed the crystal that contained Diablos soul on a forge or some such.

Doesn't mean Baal can't go nuts and revive him, though.
