I don't know, i can't think of a better system but there must be a way not to spam the cblogs everytime there is a contest.

Having to wade through piles of shit posts from idiots that spend all day refreshing the page on those stupid sites that list competitions and come make a half-assed, never going to win entry is kinda tiresome I agree.

I went for weeks on dtoid without realizing that "Not my Turning Point Rig" was a competition, I just thought it was some meme that everyone but me continued to find funny...much like what's happening now, except this time it actually is a meme that everyone but me finds funny.

Wall of text deleted Woo I'm 27, NZ expat living in Scotland and I've got a raging clue for video games. I'm a scientist by trade (peddling science from town to town), and have spent the last two years working on fungi (fun fact: the ones mixed with chocolate in Amsterdam are the best). It was a wicked job and i got to listen to a lot of podcasts while working. Which was handy for keeping up on video game news. Now, i study Malaria and still listen to lots of podcasts as a means to take my mind off all the rodent lives I've taken (yes, i also cackle and have no less than 3 disabled servants). I've always been a big console gamer growing up (the C64 was a console right? ahh what do you know..), have owned most of the past consoles that were available in New Zealand, and own all the current gen systems. Disposable Income? hell yeah! Games I'm currently playing: Batman Arkham Asylum (ps3) Resident Evil 4 (ps3) inFAMOUS (Ps3) Team Fortress 2 (PC) Worms 2 (XBLA) Must Eat Birds (iphone) Street Fighter IV (360) Games I've recently completed: Red Faction Guerrilla (Ps3) Prince of Persia (360) Mirrors Edge (360) Lego Star Wars Backlog: Half Life 2 Episodes 1 and 2 Dead Space (1/2 way through) Fallout 3 Bioshock (on Hard, finished on normal) The Simpsons (360) Games i've recently tried and haven't enjoyed: Prototype Saints Row 2 Killzone 2 Soul Calibur 4 Lego Indiana Jones Games i absolutely love: Team Fortress 2 Katamari Damacy Xenogears Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Giana Sisters (c64) Final Fantasy IX (psx) Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis) Day of the Tentacle Monkey Island series Legacy of Kain series Soul Calibur 2 Street Fighter 3 : IIIrd Strike Rival Schools (aka Project Justice) Raiden Fighters II First game i remember playing Frogger Some Destructoid Mosaics i made using avatars and wallpapers.
