Pioneering guitarist Joe Satriani has stated in an interview with Guitar World that he has licensed his hits "Satch Boogie" and "Surfing with the Alien" for the next installments of Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

My question is: how will Harmonix implement these songs into Rock Band if they have no vocals? Perhaps they will overdub a cowbell solo.

Next installment of Rock Band? Is there a link to this news anywhere or do you have the magazine yourself?
Joe Satriani doesn't need vocals.. He's brilliant.
I can only imagine this being really boring to play. Rock Band is about getting everyone together. Not listening to one dude jam out. Satriani is freakin amazing, but I can see it work well with these games.
Saint Joe!
You rock Joe! They need no vocals. Their music is their vocals.

If i would write an article for Joe, 3 page is not enough and if I would write in with pay I think there is no article writing rates will compare with this one.
