As I am often running about the internet collecting tips like a ferocious whirlwind I tend to notice a lot of other sites holding contests for cool gaming swag. So in a continuing effort to help the Destructoid community pillage these foreign gaming sites of their prizes I have compiled links to several of these contests below.

GameSpot is holding a Team Fortress 2 (PC) competition that will see each member of the winning team netting a $200 Best Buy gift card. You do need to register at GameSpot to be able to enter, however.

Shacknews, much like Destructoid, is holding a photoshop contest to win copies of The Simpson’s Game. Since entering in multiple contests tends to up your chances of “winnage” it might be something to try if you really want to get a free copy. Keep in mind though that their contest ends tomorrow at midnight, so you’ll need to get on it soon.

Eurogamer is giving away two PSP slims, copies of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria and its soundtrack. All you need to do is answer their painfully easy question by this Friday. This contest is only open to European residents, though, and you need to register with the site to enter.

CVG is giving away five AX360 headphones and a Packard Bell IPOWER 8600 gaming PC. Again, you need to sign up with their site to be able to enter.

GamesRadar is having a drawing in which the grandprize winner will win a Conan-themed, custom painted Xbox 360. They’re also holding a sweepstakes to win an Xbox 360 Elite, an Ace Combat 6 flightstick bundle and a $100 giftcard to KFC (?).
