About Me

I'm Dan and I love everyone.

BTW! I do edit Wikipedia, so ladies! Call me sometime!

It is my belief that the world of gaming is like three different nations at war with each other, with separate entities under their control, much like PMCs. The countries of PS-Triple, Xbawks, and Wiitendo use these PMCs to further their cause and attempt to eradicate the other side. Games have changed; HD-equipped consoles carry HD-compatable games, use HD-compatable hardware. Games have changed...

This is why I love Japan

BF:Bad Company demo impression.
TheDreadHawk | 1:36 PM on 06.06.2008 10 comments

So I had an extremely long night of playing the BF:Bad Company demo last night. Dear God it was totally made of epic win! At first, I was like :| but then I was like :D. But seriously. The first few hours of my demo experience were extremely bad, with the servers being overloaded and lots and lots of lag occurring in every single game I tried to play. But a little later I got on and was actually capable of playing games continually! Yeah!

So what about the single player? The single player demo was a bit lame. The first mission in the storyline was rather... boring. I barely had any trouble at all, only when a freakin' tank came out of no where and totally owned me! But still, I got rid of that once I figured out what the hell was going on. The game's graphics are freakin' amazing! The sound effects are probably the single greatest, most accurate sound effects I have ever heard in an FPS. Every gun sound authentic, the sounds of explosions is amazing, hearing the battles far off in the distance and the crackle of gun fire and artillery shells hitting their target made me one happy camper.

The multiplayer? GODLY amounts of fun! Seriously, I couldn't stop playing, until I got really tired. And, as usual, it has that "WTF?!!!!11 WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?!!!" experience that Battlefield players have come to expect. It's truly going to be an amazing game, and I'll be writing a full review when it comes out and I play through it a few times! Until then: GET THE DEMO!

Yeah, that's how it is.

I got one of the free demo promotions from dtoid last week and I leveled up to three. I can't wait for the game becuase after playing Oasis for the 100th time it gets old. Plus, there was no lag nor any full rooms. lol, I think I played with the same guys every night for like three nights. It will be a very fun game online.

I never cared for battlefield2, but the multiplayer for this one had me hooked last night.

Also, what am I missing about that picture that makes it a mindfuck?

When I was playing the multiplayer, I was experiencing about a second delay after every command I punched in. I died a lot because of it.

I liked the MP demo. SP, not so much.

I played the single player first.

It sucked so hard I didn't make it to multiplayer.

I also got the demo early from the Dtoid contest....

I thought the game sucked hard in both singleplayer and multiplayer and I used to play BF2 religiously. I deleted the demo and I highly doubt I will be buying this game, I was very dissapointed in it as I had damn high hopes. I am hoping the final version of the game is MUCH better than the demo was.

I do agree with the SFX being amazing but I found the controls to be somewhat sloppy when aiming, sniping in multi was fun but that was about it.

I was in the beta and I wasn't really feeling it. Other than the blowing through walls stuff which was awesome. That was the beta though so I'll try the demo out to see if they fixed some of the stuff I had problems with.
