I hope you plan on homebrewing that bitch.
Persona is a fun game, but hard as hell. It's not the best introduction into JRPGs, but it'll do.
Its still a joke compare to early nes RPGs or other Shin Megami Tensei titles.
I'm not sure if I'd like JRPGs as a genre if a Persona game was my introduction. I started out nice and soft as far as JRPGs go.
Yay! In all honesty I've never played Persona, but I have played a lot of JRPGs before. Hope you enjoy it!
i have always wanted to give the persona franchise a go. seeing how my roommate got a PS2, my chances are not slim
Also get Disgaea 2.
Persona PSP is about as hardcore as classic JPRGs can get. NOT a good starting point if you've never played one before.
Do no start with persona psp, I recommend downloading final fantasy seven or a rpg on the PSN
I wouldn't know if it is or is not a bad starting point, because for all you know the hardcore challenge that Shin Megami Tensei offers in some of its games may be just the stimulation you need to keep pushing forward. But if you do end up finding Persona PSP to be a bit overwhelming I'd recommend relocating to Persona 3 or 4 and coming back to the hard stuff later.
