Continuing the tradition of completely ignoring press release traditions, Atlus sent me an email early this morning announcing the next title in the
Trauma Center series foretold in blurry magazine scans posted here courtesy of the Genki-JAM. I am told that more information will be released in E3, but the few screenshots included already have me pumped, as it looks to include even more action on and off the operating table. The most notable features touted in the newsletter include play in six different fields of medicine (one of which is diagnostician, lool) and anime-inspired "dynamic story sequences" with "innovative animation". The only thing I'm wondering is what kind of time-defying Satanic superpowers these six doctors will possess. I don't think I need to say anything more other than if you're not signed up for the Atlus Faithful newsletter already, you really should be. Speaking of which, does being collectively referred to as "Faithful" remind you of Stephen Colbert or is that just me?

[Edit]Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the game is due for North American release next Spring.
I also got this email. Can't wait till this game comes out, I <3 Trauma Center so hard.
Can't wait! One of the characters reminds me of Dojima from P4.
I see you can play doctor in this game.. BAN THIS SICK FILTH!
Reminds me that I have to complete the second one for Wii... Awesome game btw...
I kinda get a Spike Spiegel vibe from the second character.
