Not too surprising really. The PS3 has a lot of great software out now, especially compared to a year ago. Also, a lot of people associate GTA with PS3, so that probably helped quite a bit.

Yay! Numbers that fanboys can go bonkers about. This'll be brought in forums all across the internet. Many souls will be hurt and many sperm cells will lay wasted.

The PS3 is also the best selling Blu-ray player atm.

So it's more than likely a chunk of the sales are to people who will never buy games.

Hard to really infer anything from them because of that & probably the same reason why MS keeps talking about "attach rate" in all their NPD press releases.
