This is one of the things I would have never expected to do in my lifetime, a blog. Just one of those "listed" activities you would never have expected to get to do. Well I'm a long time viewer of D'toid and its' various blogs, but a short and first time user. So to introduce myself I have taken the responsibility of constructing a formal hello of sorts. So hey to everyone who cares to read my first ever blog post, it's going to be an experiment as of right now and that is very comfortable for me as a person. Journalism as an experiment?! Who would have though?

I assure you I will also take to developing exactly what I'll be writing about just as soon as I find something to write that might be important enough to warrant the time alloted.

Oh noes! I must know what I'm doing wrong here for I am completely lost when it comes to community journalism. This place can serve as a nice beat in to the community as far as blogging standards go.

few things to note:

This is nothing like most blog sites, your stuff WILL be seen and WILL be read (provided it's not Tl;DR).

There are quite a few active members who you will see responding to a lot of things. Their like forums but on steroids.

That blogs or posts that do fade into obscurity without many comments tend to be random, but once more people start to know you they'll generally be more interested in your blog.

The friends list only works one way, you add people and they appear to the side of your blog, if they add you, you won't get a message but you'll appear on the side of their blog. There is no way of telling who has/has not added you.

That's as much as I can help you with, anything else send me a PM or be more specific.
