The PS3 Firmware 2.76 has rolled out this morning, so expect some delays if you plan on signing in to PSN today. It's another ambiguous update from Sony. I couldn't find any details other than the following from Eric Lempel (Director of PSN Operations) on the Playstation.Blog:

Hello, I just wanted to provide everyone with a head�s up that the next PLAYSTATION 3 system software update (v.2.76) will be coming soon. This is a minor update that improves the playback quality of some PS3 format software.

As of 4:20AM CST (heh), the PS3 Software Update website still advertises 2.70, so the Playstation.Blog is the only information out there regarding the update. Here's a link anyways in case that changes soon:

The most boring update since...well...the text chat firmware.

Does anyone know if it's possible to watch ABC programming from their website on a PS3? (Go go Lost season finale). It won't install the necessary flash components, and I heard it was possible.

@Magnalon: I know that Hulu works via the browser (I use it when my DVR fails at recording The Office). I was unaware ABC had a similar website. It's worth a shot to give it a try.

I've been searching for a torrent all morning with zero luck. Damn non-avi files, I cant run a single one of them on my computer >.<

I've heard it also makes viewing trophies really fast, but I don't care about trophies enough to have tried it out.

Yup, it's true Trev. A lot faster on my system. Thank god for that.

The one thing I have found so everyone knows, is that it increases the speed that Trophies and Profiles show up. And trust me, it is a MASSIVE improvement IMHO. My trophies used to have the circular loading thing for a few seconds, now it's instant, which is goooood in my books. Also it helps speed Trophies and Achievements in game. 99% of my online friends have noticed too, only one of my friends didn't see an improvement.

I saw this was up but didn't download it yet. Because I like to, ya know, USE my PS3 when I turn it on, not wait for a 20-30 min download/install. Not hating, just reiterating.

As for update wants, I'd love better browser compatibility for streaming and such, but at this point I assume it must be the RAM holding it back. Damn RAM >:(
