I have recently started to hunt for classics that I missed. I collect them to play them and not just place them in a vault with the intention of selling them later.
So I felt annoyed that I had missed the opportunity to purchase the re-release of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment from Amazon. I decided to delve in the unfriendly waters of Ebay to try and find a copy that was priced reasonable. I know, reasonable and hard to find games on Ebay do not equate reasonable prices, but I got lucky! I found an excellent condition copy of Persona 2 for $39.99 with a Buy Now! option. YEAH! This was done on the 15th of November. Fast forward to the 19th. I am away from home and was not there to pick up the mail. My cousin who was at home that day remember seeing a package stuffed in the mailbox that was too small for it and recalled seeing my name on it. I think of course; why not take the mail indoors? Anyhow, she was watching television and hears the shuffling of mail and looks to see what the cause could be. She sees some wad taking the package out of the mailbox and placing it in his waistband while he begins to swiftly walk away. She goes outside and yells and the piece of crap to give her back the package but the guy continues to walk away. She increases her speed and he does to. Soon thereafter the bastard starts running where my cousin tires, calls the police and wait for the officer to meet her at her current location. I am grateful that my cousin attempted to apprehend the thief but told her never to do that again, since that tool could have harmed her over it. So I am out a copy of Persona 2 and as I look and look to see a deal similar I cannot find one. The other copies are easily $80 and up. I am pissed off and want to find the asshole and break all his fingers. I wish I had been home to greet the thief.
