Now that that's done with, let's move onto the blog itself. This blog isn't going to contain any news. Like EVER. Like NEVER EVER FOREVER NEVER. I have no intention of doing anything other than posting original content (mostly just pictures that I make with my extremely limited photoshop skills along with original stories and whatnot). The bottom line is that I think that there are plenty of people doing editorial/reviewer style content already, and so instead of adding to the glut, I'll just stick to what I know:

My one year anniversary: I did a bunch of traveling and met a bunch of Dtoiders whilst doing so. Here's my one year anniversary/travel summary audio c-blog.

I'm pretty much walking out the door, but I wanted to post this today; so bear with me.
Things to know: - This is an audio-blog because it's way quicker than trying to type everything, and time is a factor for me right now. - It's in em-pee-three format. - I mention 13thDragon and Banj, but this isn't directly addressed to them. It's to anyone who is wondering why people like Ikaruga, or even games like it. - I have no idea how to do an outro. - I pretty much just sat down and winged this. There's extremely little editing done on it too, so it's a little rough. - It's 5 minutes long, but you can browse the intertubes while listening. How convenient! - I'm not trying to take pot-shots at people who don't like the game. Diff'rent strokes. - I just saw EDS's c-blog about Ikaruga. He touches on some of the same points that I do. If I had done a bunch of writing, extra takes, editing etc. then yeah it probably would have taken quite some time, but I didn't. I just sat down, talked for 5 minutes, and hit the stop button. Editing took less than a minute as there was only one time I tripped over my tongue. Wrote the text while I was uploading and bam, done. From Starting to record to posting took me less than 10 minutes all told. I didn't even listen to the whole thing after recording. :P
I just really wanted to get it out of my system, though after doing it I think that in some ways I prefer recording to writing. Not that I'm about to start doing tons of audio-blogs or anything, but I may do something like this again in the future.

basically the entire game is a metaphor for racism, it's awesome
I'm not really into the game, but I don't hate it or think it's bad at all. That's because of what you said. I'm not a SHMUP guy. Not as much as some other people. I do find it enjoyable, but I still haven't decided if I want it.
