Just a few guys who got bored and decided to hop on skype and record the everyday talk we have about video games. I think they call it a podcast? I dunno. Anyway, half the time we know what we are talking about and half the time we don't. We are fans just having a good time. PARENTAL ADVISORY!!!!...like u really care. But we do have some crazy mouth pieces and i don't think this is for the wiimote audience. You Have Been Warned!...lol. Not your ordinary bunch. We all come from different parts of the country and the podcast has a very urban cast.

So, I played with an IW developer today

They have XBL GamerTags like COD4[InsertFirstNameHere]. The guy I played with is named Todd from IW's own development team. Todd was really cool. I got his gamertag from a friend of a friend, and we sent him the message at about 8pm and asked for him to join us. Around 9:30 he sent us the message back saying "send the invite". He showed up right away and we were just fragging and chatting. Through playing with Todd, I was able to discover that the Livefire weekend is mostly for getting user feedback and interaction with the fans. The team wants to know how they can make their game better, and what better way to do that than to get it right from the players while playing the game itself?

Anyway, I had to slip in a few questions of my own. I asked him what other games Infinity Ward made/were working on beside the CoD series. I learned that the team that makes up Infinity Ward is actually the some of the same team that made Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. On the other side of the spectrum (aka, games yet to be concepted) Todd let us know that Infinity Ward had a project not related to Call of Duty at all. He couldn't tell us much beside the fact that there was something else and it wasn't Call of Duty.

Besides that, the guy was really cool. He tried to get fourzerotwo to play with us as well but 402 never got back to him. At about 11:15pm, Todd disappeared after being AFM (away from mic) for almost 15 minutes. We recon he either went to join another room, or just stopped playing (though it still shows he's online).

On a final note, I would advise against sending friend invites to COD4Todd. He does not accept friends requests from random people, even from people who he may play with during the LiveFire weekend.

They put the list of up of these people on the Live Fire weekend page so you can send them all friend request/invites. That's the whole point of the weekend.

This lists all the developers, and I don't see Todd anywhere...

From OGWilson: 402 confirmed that those names on the official Livefire list aren't the only names that would be active in the CoD4 weekend.

Append: CoD4Ryan can be found on the official list here:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/c/callofduty4modernwarfare/livefire2008/default.htm

and at 402's site:

iamfourzertwo.com

Also, he had the exclusive IW clan tag, which only IW people can get. Wish I would've taken a picture to prove but I hadn't thought about it. Take my word for it, though. It's legit.

Whoops, I meant CoD4 Todd in that last post. I also played with Ryan but only for a couple of minutes.
