That need for skill and teamplay is according me the reason Enemy Territory : Quakeworld failed... it is such an unbelievably great game, but you actually need some serious skill and patience to get just a little good at it, and it failed like crazy sadly enough :-(
Most people playing the demo just want to have some pew-pew fun. There is always an initial wave of idiots when it comes to multiplayer demos.
People who actually play the game will more likely take it more "seriously" and try and explore all sides of it while those that played the demo and didn't buy the game will go back to playing Gears of War 2, CoD, and so forth.
The trick is to make the less twitchy and more "boring" classes feel rewarding to play on a personal level, or at least rewarding enough so that people won't mind using them to complement their own team.
I will be waiting for a review anyway before buying (unless I can be bothered to hook up my 360 to the net today and try the demo, which I should really do!).

The demo was a major disapointment due to players, I could tolerate everything but that. So yeah, its unfair for me to review the game based on it's temporary community of retarded ants.
I enjoyed the demo on PSN but grew a little bored with it as I played. Good concept but I won't be buying it.
In PSN , there are just warriors , and they just use the spin special , it WAS a must buy , now I won't eve buy it ...
In all honesty I felt that the games problem wasn't the players. But the fact that the game really doesn't take any skill to play. I mean, if you're an archer you can just spam shots and you'll get all kinds of kills. I honestly think I may pick it up because it is cheap fun and it's new. So, why not? I'll never say it's the best game in the world, but to me, it is oddly entertaining. Though I really wish the whole Scout backstab thing wouldn't be an instant kill. I don't know what they were thinking. I mean, instant kills against regular classes is one thing, but giant classes and heroes? That's dumb in my opinion. I played one game where majority of the opposing team were scouts, and suddenly the game didn't feel fun in anyway anymore. Backstabs were everywhere and it was totally retarded. They should of raised the player cap as well, tone down the graphics if they had to. 8 on 8 just doesn't feel like a large epic war, in anyway.
Lol Qraze. Don't be a fanboy. I definitely came across the same situation on PSN as well.
If you want real teamwork you'll go PC anyway. Cause retards don't know how to use PCs.

@AngelsDontBurn
yeah I noticed that when I got COD:W@W for PC, its a fucking nightmare trying to find a non-cheat-server ( all give 3000+ XP per kill ) I think THAT is totally retarded...

There was no targeting system. And a game like this really needs a targeting system. I'm just swinging my shit around in circles praying to god I hit the guy before he hits me and I can get a combo off of him. This game was disappointing. As was Mercs 2.
