Hi, Amazing Shenazin, I used to flame new people that failed as much as this post is, but I'm beyond that these days, let me give you a little heads up on how things run here on the Community Blogs.

First, avatars should be 70x70 pixels so it doesn't mess up the comments to your blog.

Second, take your criticism with a grain of salt, most of us here like to see people become successful and meaningful community bloggers. With that said, this is a pretty simplistic post that only serves two purposes: to push more meaningful blogs down the road to obscurity, and to get comments.

Please make your next c-blog about something more worthwhile so that everyone here can take something away with them from the experience of reading your post.

Finally, EDS is right about this being unnecessary due to the fact that you have it on your profile on the right. Also, EDS is a pretty cool guy, he's a miserable prick and doesn't afraid of anybody.

Shenazin, dude we're not assholes. We want you to succeed, we really do, but when a regular says something that is somewhat helpful, take what you can out of it and go on learning...Also man, the hostility comes from the fact that some of us spend HOURS writing our community blog entries and when some person comes in with a 3 line, no picture, no opinion, hey everybody post, we get kinda mad. We love this site like no other, we come here because Destructoid is more than a gaming website to us, it's a legitimate community.

JohnTheCrow...that goes double for you, if you don't want to be a contributing part of the Destructoid community, then GTFO, we're not elitist at all, we are just a tight knit community that is wary of other people trying to encroach and turn this site into another Joystiq or IGN (if you don't understand the irony or insult from saying that you get your news from that site, then seriously GTFO).

4. We're just fucking with you most the time, if you show that it bothers you, we will fuck with you even more.

Jesus man, we blog about video games, our lives, chilling, having fun, making fun of others, drinking, and living life.

If you wanted friends for xbox live, then say that you want friends, tell us why you'd be a good member to play against, what games you have what games you enjoy, how long you've gamed, what systems you've had.

If you want to put yourself out there, be sincere about it, not just hey guys here's my xbl name...we can sense bullshit a mile away. If you want to post your gamertag you can do it on the forums, or you could just put it in your profile and when people see your profile they can add you. A three line blog saying "hai guyz dis is mai gamertag" is a waste.
