Alright, I was looking for a nice animé serie to watch. My first option is to look for www.animesuki.com. It was a succes, because this ís the season for new animé releases. And of course I found a couple. To tell the truth, I found 3 series which are nice to follow.

Let me say that Shikabanehime was outstanding on the list of animesuki. It had more than 1000 seeders. That's a hint you know. Next thing was checking anime news network.com to check the genre and storyline."Supernatural" it said. Alright, I love supernatural series, so I chose this one as my first animé selection for this autumn.

It's about a boy who lives in a temple with his foster parents. On a night he discovers a dead girl lying in the temple and a speaking cat. Very confusing. But alright, let's continue watching. His foster father pushed the girl on her stomache and hugged her and she became alive.

Well, I'm not going to review this serie because I only watched the first episode. But it's kind of interesting. Shikabane are undeadpeople who have special powers. Good Shikabane beat bad Shikabane. Gunfire actions and supernatural powers are combined, so I liked the first episode.

Just go see for yourself! I reccomend it for supernatural fans, maybe for people who like gunfire actions. There is also a bit of mystery if you ask me....

Was it interesting? Cause I find that the first episode doesn't tend to give you any thing to base off of. I rented the first three episodes of Xam'd on the PSN and every trailer for the next episode made it seem like the next one was going to be the one to really get the anime started. Needless to say but I haven't bought the 4th episode...
animesuki? use tokyotosho.com, much better
and mangashare.com for the latest manga stuff
Saw the episode, seemed pretty interesting. Probably going to watch a few more before I make up my mind. Hopefully it won't degenerate into your typical action show witht he expected plot twists and characterizations.

I've also seen:
Casshern Sins (pretty good, the art reminds me of Saint Seiya, especially the facial features)
Tales of the Abyss (haven't played the game, but the anime seems very RPG-ish (i like RPGs) with random battles and such)
Kuroshitsuji (think Hayate no Gotoku meets Ghost Hunt/Hellsing) (has great potential for a bloody comedy)

and am probably going to pick up:
Linebarrerls of Iron
Ga-rei zero

I highly reccomend randomc.animeblogger.net. He(she) does a great job of summarizing all the new shows each season, giving you a heads up on whats coming out and what might interest you. Within the past week he(she) posted a little 1-2 paragraph summary of each show in a single post, so look for that.
I'm gonna get around to watching it...I've seen a few so far and this season hasn't been too bad so far.
@BlindsideDork: I agree with you that you can't judge by the first episode, but im only show this serie for others
@seltzermx: Linebarrels of Iron is really nice, u should check it
Tokyotosho is not very organised i think, and plus, i used to check animesuki for a very long time, so it's a habit
