From an idea that was said during a game of BlazBlue, to trying to make it real on the forums, to me realizing two people can't do this alone about 10 minutes ago. A fighting game only night on Saturdays. This was made out of the idea that, at least on PS3, amazing sessions of BlazBlue would be intterupted by people running off and playing Killzone 2 for FNF. So in turn, let's have a night ONLY for fighters. However, while we kinda sorted out that I can host PS3 and de BLOO can host 360, that is a lot of games. Five to six on PS3 and nine to ten on 360. So some help is needed.
If you want to help start a fighting game only session for Dtoiders every Saturday, listen up. If you own any of the listed below games and want to host a room on Saturday, PM me on the forums. An hour, minimum, of hosting and a start time, prefereably on the hour, is needed. The following are only what I can remember off the top of my head that each console has, so if you have a fighting game that want's to try to get a session going, feel free to PM me. You don't have to be good to play. I really doubt anyone here is a master at any fighting game, except nilcam with SNK because he loves them so much. :P So again, please please PM me if you are interested. If we're lucky, we can start this weekend. If not, next week. I want this to happen tho, so let's roll.

I plan on getting Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, Blazblue, and KOFXII all at the same time in the next few weeks.
I've been on a fighting game hiatus since I moved to college and all everyone played was Halo.
Seriously, anyone here, add my PSN ID (same as my username). I can't wait to get down with any of the 3 titles I mentioned.
I won't be participating till either I buy a fight stick or I can button-mash to victory. Since neither will be happening soon, all I will say is have fun!!! ^_^

I live in the Uk but me and Jimbo had plenty of games without any trouble.
Yeah, I have SSF2:THDRemix, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, and BlazBlue. Yeah, I could host all of those if needed, though my preference goes to hosting BlazeBlue above the others. Ummm, I'll shoot you a PM sometime during the week.
I'll most likely have time for HD remix.
If I get more games, I'll prob try those too.
and then there's Tekken 6 coming. I'll get KOFXII soon enough. Though I can't do it this weekend seeing i'm headin to the beach so it'd have to be saturday after this one.
I don't have Street Fighter 4, so my info might be somewhat innacurate. F
or the PS3 version, since SF4 itself doesn't have lobbies, couldn't you use Home, meet up in the room of the "host" and game launch from there? I don't know if people could spectate from there or not, but it could atleast be some kind of organization.
I would like to submit the name "Rage-Of-Fist Saturday".
Also "Dtoid Saturday Night Fighters" may also be an idea as it follows the FNF style of naming.

Man, we have a ton of PS3'ers but hardly anyone (no one? D:) for 360.
I intend to see many Battle Fantasia players at Shoryuken Saturdays. If you have a 360, check your local gamestop for a copy. It should be under $30 brand new. If you have PS3, I believe it is available on PSN. I want to see more people playing this awesome, under-appreciated fighter!

Hell Yea I forgot about Battle Fantasia, got that game around Christmas and haven't really touched it. Sadly thats the only fighting game I own on the 360but I got the others for ps3. I work saturdays and dont really have a set out time else id be all over this, but if anyone would be up for a wed. or sunday fight night....lol
