Penny Arcade nailed it today

If you haven´t visited today´s comic, here it is:

http://www.penny-arcade.com/

I really laughed hard on this one.
Reminds me off when I first played MArio 64, and I am pretty sure Mirror´s Edge will make me feel exactly like that.

I saw this comic this morning and I have to say I completely disagree with it. I have played the Mirror's Edge demo multiple times now and not once did I get motion sickness. I'm sure there are some that will, but I don't think it's any worse then the other FPSs out there.

I don't have any problems with it. I can see where some will though. lol @ Comic.

I sure hope Sony banked on this game CORRECTLY. (( PS3 XCLUSV DLC ))

An extra 5 hours from the main campaign & you'll need a hospital visit for a biopsy... or a nice white & quiet room.

Ha, love the vomiting. I've seen the vids for Mirror's Edge, but doubt I could play it very long. I can barely handle FPS games...

I didn't get sick either. I get the joke, but it's not as funny the 30th time it's told.

I can play the game just fine...oh yeah I forgot, I play video games and I'm NOT a sissy girl.

Yeah, no video game has ever given me motion sickness. To this day, the only thing to ever give me motion sickness is reading while in the passenger seat of a car. Don't know why <_<.

I got a little iffy watching the gameplay videos, but playing it, I'm fine.

Even turned off the reticule and runner vision, so there's no HUD what-so-ever :)

Makes it looks much better, and open... even if the demo was very linear.

Really? I've never felt any of those with gaming...does that mean I just have a strong stomach and eyes? lames and a sliver of fail? :P

I think the reason that I don't get motion sick is because of that little white dot as a reticule. By focusing on that I can keep from wanting to Ralph

The only time I ever get motion sickness from video games is when I'm watching someone play an FPS for a while. Never puking but it does make my stomach sick from time to time.

I turned off the reticule while playing and still had no problem, that's on my 30", Maybe I should try it out on my 85" projector and see if i get similar results.

I didn't get motion sickness from this game at all. The movement actually helps me stay in the action. It's funny because Half Life 2 gives me motion sickness because there is no bounce or human like movement in the way you walk. It makes me sick sometimes.

Hell, I turned off the little dot thing (go to options), and I had more fun that way. It's more immersive.

What Infinite Obscurity said. I can't read while I'm in a moving vehicle, but Mirror's Edge has given me zero motion sickness issues.
