Sorry to be late introducing my self. Ive been, lazy. And also pissed, but I will get to that in a moment.

So let me explain my own purpose of coming to this lovely site. I was first introduced to D-toid about, say, five months ago. Since then, it has been my homepage. I check it everyday now, as soon as I get home. The first article I read was about how gamers were boycotting Left for Dead 2.

That was the article that turned it all around for me. I then became a constant lurker on Destructoid.

My first blog ended up basically being this
- I am sure all of you know about how Modern Warfare 2 came out this past Tuesday, right? Well, I pick up the game Wednesday and rush home. I prepare my snacks and everything I need to have a good session...Yet to much disappointment, my xbox, after 20 minutes of playing decides to have a faulty GPU.
And that pretty much make me unable receive video from the xbox. My warranty is past the first year. It hasn't red ringed yet. So I can't get the free repair. The cost, if I were to send it in now? $100....not to happy about that. I don't even have monopoly money in that amount.

That sums up my week.

Wish I could have introduced my self first, because now the only thing on my mind is my xbox and Call of Duty.

So here are the basics of what I like and enjoy
- I draw through boredom, which happens a lot. And comics are the end result. Maybe at some point I will scan some onto the site here.
- I really like the whole internet lifestyle. (come on, you know it is one)
- Video Games of course, why would I be here?
- Photography and Film.
- Computers despite the fact that I have a shitty one.

So yeah, that is me doing an okay job of introducing my self.

I hope to grow with you guys in the community. I can already tell that there are plenty of great people here.

I toss around the term, bad luck a lot. Yet today it defines itself to me more than any other day.




So finally, I have Modern Warfare 2 in my hands. I go forth in placing it in my disc tray, and begin playing it for say, about twenty minutes. That far in, I begin to see translucent blue patches in the game world. Each patch stays where it is at, and each texture in the game has a different one.. I grew tired of this, and so I decided to stop playing and turn my console off, to fix the problem. When I turn my console back on, NO VIDEO!


Thirty minutes of me fooling with cables, video resolutions, and many other frantic attempts at fixing the problem, I am still left without video, and hope. I have now come to a conclusion that my xbox's GPU has disconnected from the motherboard. My 'one year warranty' is apparently long gone, as xbox.com tells me. So I am left with shattered dreams, and heartbreak. The least it could do is completely brick on me(RRoD), so as I could get the free repair. But no, if I send this into repair, I have to pay Microsoft 100 big ones.



I am trying however to see it a different way though. My 360 just couldn't handle Modern Warfare 2's love.
