Well after listening to a couple of flame posts by opposing fan boys I realized that these kind of people are
the reason that gaming as an art form hasn't seen it's Citizen Kane. Think about it films have critics so that
can be something that discourages someone from seeing a certain movie. But if its new some people are going to go see it just because. But being a Fan boy is basically closing your eyes and ignoring everything that comes out for it based on the fact that you don't own a certain system. Video games like any other art form should be taken as subjectivly as possible because they have different effects on different people. An
awesome example would be a widow or widower's reaction to Passage as compared to some 13 year old kid. The way we look at the world changes as we get older and experience different thing. We are the ones as gamers who are ultimately responsible for the industries out right sometimes pandering attitude. They make
the games that sell.

It is a given as a business that they are here to make money first and foremost. The
reason I think retrogames are making such a come back is because the companies are now pandering to the
kid inside all of us 20 and 30 somethings that remeber these games or these types of games. I forget the
Qoute I want to use so i'l make another post when I get home but it basically states that that when it comes to
anything the only way to begin something is with an open mind, otherwise you will eventually miss something
that might have been the most important thing in your life. I don't know what I would have done if I was a
nintendo fanboy and only played nintendo during the ps1 and ps2 life cycle. All of the games I would have
missed . And that is the reason I probably still play games because it made that leap into survival horror and
puzzle games that have kept me here for this long not to mention fighters. Three words: Marvel Vs. Capcom.

So over the last year and a half I have been dealing with shoty at best internet connections from home and
such. That and having to resort to looking like an old lady using the slow ass internet at my local library which
blocked me from viewing my second love Destructoid. But fear not for I have returned and shall become one
of the faithless contributors yet again. Retroforce how I missed thee. Let me say that I now have a new job
with better pay which has given me the tools of a G-1 which is what I am using to write this. And I am now
able now the owner of an excellent DSL connection for my home PC. Finally I have arrived in the 21st century
with all of you yeeeeeeeeaaaa for me and can't wait to chat about games again. Peace love and 8 bits

Man I was just going through my game collection and I found all these laser disc based cartoon games. So I had to play a few. Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, and Brain Dead 13 to name a few. They were fun simple and they were actually kind of funny. So i have to wonder why haven't they Recreated and or re-released some of these games. I know they did a dvd copy of Dragon's Lair. Any way i wanted to recommend if u can get ur hands on a copy of Brain Dead 13 do so. I know they released it for PS and Sega Saturn or CD. But it's fun and the dude who is the main character of the game has some of the bast deathes.

Made these for the hosts w/ the most at retro force. Thought u guys would like to see something u can't have but they rock so they deserve gifts

Welcome back into my life for a few seconds while u read this. Everyone should be aware that Martial Arts rock. I'm finally taking karate, and it is the best thing i have ever done for myself. I'm learning how to as bad ass as the gaming heroes of my youth. And i'm lossing weight like crazy. So i must recommend that every one try a martial art. At least for a couple of weeks.

So all that praise aside i have to rip on something for moment the new map pack for COD4 blows. They should have only charged me for two of the maps seeing as how small and stupid the other two are. They would be KILLZONE and BROADCAST. Lamejuice to quote the force of retro goodness. I understand that these company need to make money in order to bring us the next great experience but what the fuck. 10.00 theoredical dollars on xbox cause u can't just charge the exact amount for the fuckin thing. They have to use their wierdo carni cash ticket system. And the beauty is I already paid 60 fuckin bones for the game in the first place.

I can understand charging us for the arcade titles but the downloadable content on a game i already bought. That's like a hooker asking me for an extra 10 bucks after the fact cause i didn't catch herpes from her. I mean seriously when are we as a community gonna say it's enough fuck u micro$oft u need to at least buy me dinner before u fuck me over.

Hey Thanks to all Who commented on my first blog and if u didn't u need to. To Clarify the pictures in my first post . That's my furry daughter or puppy which ever doesn't sound that lame. Then there are the nintendo tats i did STARMAN and a BABOMB. Funny story about the BABOMB we got reference for for some old nintendo trading cards that came with that tattoo as an extra little prize. That was fuckin sweet it's on my boy JAGA a member of the podcast crew so you might hear him soon enough. And last my wife and me as MARIO and PEACH last HALLOWEEN. That said back to the topic at hand the post title. I have realized as of late that people have begun to look at my with a certain kind of hate like they just wanna cut me off. But they can't because i'm wrapped aroud some major blood line and it's to dangerous. Maybe it's cause i'm to nice maybe it's because i try to hard maybe because they're jealous. I seek perfection in everything i attempt. And don't handle failure well maybe that's why i'm so into retro video games if i die i can start over again and try to get past that next boss w/out using another continue. Not to sound emo though cause i just don't have the bangs or the gapping wrist wounds to pull that off. But i feel like people these days are just mean to b mean and i should be nicer to compinsate for everyone else.
