Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
That's what (surprise) discussion forums are for.
Also both.
Ok....phew! Here we go:
We go through hundreds of you bloggers a month. You posted 2 new posts today, without an intro of any kind. We are a cemented community that for the most part, know each other, and when someone comes in, we like to get to know them, ya dig?
Now, there is a c-blog rule about spam posting. The blogs are here for content; not simple polls. If you had wrote 3-4 paragraphs on why each game could be neat, then this would have been pure win, sir.
Ok, onto the deep stuff. You made "new blogger mistake #2" (after spamming); you called out a long term community member. There's no reason for this. They're trying to help you along, and get you out of the habit of being flamed for your spamming/no content post. What you should do is
A) Hide this blog
B) Apologize in the comments for doing it
C) Never do it again
Seriously, your avatar is badass, as is your name. If you hide this blog, 90% of the community will NEVER know this happened, allowing you to star anew. Why do I care enough to write this huge ass post? Because it's a shame when I see tons of new bloggers just go to waste because they decided to flip out at the new community they want to belong to.
So pull up a chair, prepare to be flamed for no content posts, and relax.
Good luck in the future. This blog is now INVISIBLES!
