DESTRUCTOID IS NOW 4 YEARS OLD!

It really is uncanny thinking about how long I've been on this site, and what Destructoid and the crew have done for me. This past year on Dtoid has been one of the best of my life, and totally encouraged me to be more involved. Ever since the first community gathering that I went to, I fell in love with everyone who I have met through the site. And I've made friends, TONS of friends, who feel more like family that anything else.

People I travel across the state to see for New Years...people who travel hours to come party with me when I visit New Orleans...people I've laughed with online watching bad movies... people who call me on my birthday from New Zealand.

This site is truly something special. I have such a busy work schedule as a graduate student, but being able to help organize DtoidSF stuff really helps maintain my sanity with all the chemistry I'm learning, and for that I'm thankful to Destructoid for letting me do that :D.

Niero..you truly are an outstanding guy. You are such a warm, welcoming person whom I love hanging around with. Now that I've had the chance to get to know you more, you've gone from someone I used to idolize to someone who's a really good friend and family member. This weekend, when we were playing Rock Band, you jokingly said that I was "your hero". Well, that's funny, cause you were my hero first, buddy :D

Following your dream to where it is today is something that many people can only wish they can achieve. And I just have to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me feel a small part of it :D


Destructoid has truly changed my life. And there are no words for me to thank you enough for what you have given me. You can never have enough family, and thanks to this site, having enough family is not something I have to worry about.
