CURRENTLY LEARNING HOW TO PUNCTUATE WISH ME LUCK!
im 19 yrs of age from Melbourne, Australia been playing games since i was 4. I have a.d.d which limits my atention so my favorite types of games are ones which are easy to learn and hard to master(fighters,platformers,adventure games,puzzle games etc) and i have literally no patience for slow paced story driven rpg's and such FPS"s are stupid.Consoles i own are nes,snes,64,master system,megadrive,playstation,ps2,gamecube,wii,xbox,xbox 360,game gear,gameboy all variations,and DS.
i'm starting a course in game design next year its the only thing i could really see myself doing apart of playing games all day which i do currently.

I loving hate it,the whole series,1-3,FUCKING HORRIBLE GAMES!
and ive given them way to many chances to prove themselves BUT THEY FAILLLLLL To me there's nothing lamer then seeeing kids pushing colored buttons,in sync with what the timing on screen dictates,while lame ass generic uninspired footage of beefy meatheads,or some rail thin punk posing as the crowd waves ther fists in the air while top 40 songs play. How fucking shit fucking gay i swear these games are the most boring depressing things ever to watch just people tapping ther fingers while completely unrewarding visuals as a testament to how much time they have wasted.When i see guitar hero and the popularity the series has gathered it makes me understand for the first time why people hate video games its fucking stupid. GUITAR HERO TAKES NO SKILL ONLY BRUTE REPITION an example i would say would be the first few times i played GH2 i was able to do medium songs fairly competantly after mimimal practice.Because i'd get a knack for the song and just muscle memory would take it from ther and if i was sad enough though that i played the game 8 hrs a day,i would easily be able to master expert songs soon enough which seems obvious.But if you take a game like say street fighter 2,halo,pokemon,or any other serious competitive game,games like this have a helluva lot more depth strategy,tactics,counter tactics,crazy ass mind games and all that junk which makes a game fun to watch ANYONE WHO TAKES GUITAR HERO SERIOUSLY IS A FUCKTARD, why are these kids playing these games and why are they so popular? there's no compelling story,no depth to them, the only people i could see playing these games seriously are people with no skill to play real games and reep any rewards and they have way to much time on ther hands.I mean its not like ther even playing a game,the games playing them. And just for the record i dont hate all rythm games with such a passion atleast ddr is funny to watch

Seriously, your entire arguement is total bullshit. It's a fun game that requires skill. I suck at it and still enjoy it. The music is generally good and the game is easy to pick up and play but hard to master. I see nothing wrong with that.
