At the bottom of this page you'll find a list of all the names of senators who voted for this bill. You probably won't hear about this on any major news channels, and there is good reason for that. Given the special circumstances surrounding this particular bit of information I'm just going to copy the whole article into this blog, not that I normally contribute much commentary anyway.
US Constitution repealed by traitorous Senators. Republican Party now Gestapo Party says observer
"(NaturalNews) The mainstream media doesn't want you to know about this story even though it is arguably the single most important story of the year in terms of impacting your future as a free citizen. Yesterday as part of the National Defense Authorization Act, the U.S. Senate voted to repeal the Constitution and its Bill of Rights by authorizing the U.S. military to operate on U.S. soil, conduct secret kidnappings of American citizens and throw them in secret military prisons where they will be "legally" tortured, interrogated and murdered.
All that is required for this to take place is the allegation that you are somehow linked to something resembling "terrorism." There is no due process and no evidence whatsoever required. And this is all being give the thumbs up by the traitorous U.S. Senate, led by Republicans like Sen. John McCain who should know a thing or two about secret prisons.
You won't find any real coverage of this story in the mainstream media, which has predictably sided with tyranny while blacking out this story for reasons you can only imagine. So I've collected some of the more important videos and articles you need to see in order to understand what's happening with this issue and why America is about to descend in an overt, in-your-face military police state run by militant Republican tyrants. If you thought Bush was bad, just wait until a Republican wins the election in 2012 and then uses this law to declare open war on the American people..."
The site the text is from (in the link above) contains links to videos from sites prisonplanet.com, aclu.org, the moralliberal.com, wired.com and mercurynews.com. As you may be aware, a situation similar to this has appeared before, during the "Red Scare" when people could cause problems for someone just by telling an authority figure that they were Communists.
"Now you know what the FEMA camps are for
This is a message to all those trolls and morons who have been attacking all of us freedom defenders for the past several years: Now you know the FEMA camps are true!
Where do you think the U.S. military planned to put all these U.S. citizens they round up under this new law? The FEMA camps, of course!
We've got the entire censored episode of Jesse Ventura's "Conspiracy Theory" that reveals these FEMA camps in full detail. Watch it now with renewed knowledge of why these internment camps have been constructed across the USA :
http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=CFB1C... (entirety of link contained in the naturalnews story, find it there)
All this harkens back to World War II and the Japanese internment camps set up on U.S. soil, followed by the military rounding up of Japanese citizens : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japane...(again, full link contained in the naturalnews article)
You think they won't do it again? Then why did they just pass a bill declaring the entire USA to be a "battleground" and opening the door for the military to operate in U.S. cities and streets?"
I don't want to assume you're aware of the internment-camp-looking facilities that FEMA has set up all over the place, but you can learn more about those with a simple google search.
"The full list of the traitorous, criminal U.S. Senators who voted for this bill
The U.S. Senators who voted for this bill are now unindicted traitors and criminals who have openly attempted to destroy the very U.S. Constitution they swore allegiance to. Notice how this list is dominated by Republicans?
All these Senators should now be publicly arrested and tried for seditious acts by a jury of their peers -- a lawful right they would deny you!

So is Hamilton a traitor too?
But I personally think that every government could use a healthy collapse and change of regime on occasion when things have become too bloated, the world leaders clearly inept, as is the situation now. I also think the govt' should have as little influence or control over anything as is humanly possible.
Doesn't that seem a little ironic?
The crux of the issue seems to be the ability to hold without trial or charge anyone, anywhere in the world, even a US citizen, in a military prison, indefinitely.
I haven't read the bill, but as I look through some of the writing on it, since it seems to bypass the court system, there won't be an opportunity for the courts to strike it down. You all remember how the three branches of government (ostensibly) balance one another right? If it doesn't go to court, it can't be struck down. Again, I haven't read the bill, but this does seem like a dangerous legality to allow.

---------------------------------
Putting this here, on Destructiod, a video game blog, makes you seem like a conspiracy theorist. And I'm going to tell you why: If you run around Screaming about a topic, that is NOT the focus of the forum, you come across as a nutter, because it's far from the focus of the forum.
I'm sure in your mind you think, it impacts everyone, therefore, any forum is a good one. But you'd be wrong. People run around screaming bloody murder all the time. And we, like everyone, are straddled with the burden of faith. People ultimately trust in something, be it their parents, their friends, the church, the government, science, whatever it is, since it's impossible to digest all of the information in the world, you need to be able to trust something for guidance in areas in which you're NOT an expert.
This is something we're all forced to deal with. And like I said before, people run around screaming bloody murder all the time. This is not to say it's not a valid concern, but it is dire prognostication, (The sky is falling!) by someone I don't know. Because I don't know you, because my faith in you is suspect. Not because of anything you did, but because I don't know you. Because of that, putting it here seems misplaced. It makes you seem like you're not taking in your world/environment correctly, and not reacting rationally. Do you see the way those two things are confluent of one another?
It's a subtle point about perception, you need to try to put yourself in our shoes to see it likely, but, you may want to.
That is not to say that you have any sort of problem, likely you don't. You're probably just presented with a circumstance wherein you feel a strong need to tell people what you feel you feel is a serious issue. And it seems of such importance that you just blew your load on anyone who'd take it (Destructiod, you're such a slut) But it comes across to (some) people as nuts.
That being said, thanks for telling me.
Also @ OP, there is no conspiracy. 'Murikah has always been run by the Illuminati. Kind of hard to consider it a secret when they put the symbols right on our money, dude.
The words you see there are Latin for "BRONIES FOREVER! WE LOVE THE DEVIL!"
Seriously.
Some of the sites may be dubious at best, but I also mentioned that ACLU article, it just so happens that people tend to take one piece of a thing and use it to disregard the information as a whole. I'm pretty sure there is a fallacy name for that.
Further, I never asked you to trust me or have any manner of faith in me, what I DID suggest (and you did do) is that it would be a good idea to research this yourself.
My job is done, at least one person's eyes were opened.
