Twilight Princess is the greatest Zelda game of all time. The original zelda games have had a good run but its time for them to step down. Twilight princess has everything a great zelda rpg needs. Its main storyline is the greatest of any game i have every played. Each dungeon has a different theme that tickles me right where i itch. The difficulty is perfect, where you can play at a fun pace while still being challenged. The fighting is great, it has great sword fighting a deflection and the hidden skills leave you and your enemies in awe. The graphics are awesome and some places in the game just need to be stared at for a while to soak it all in. The game takes a look back at ocarina of time with little tid-bits of things that carry over. This blog is a short one but it gets to the point. im sure there is a better one by someone with some good writing skillz so find it and send me the link.

You haven't played very many video games, have you? I don't think you've been playing them very long, either. Have you tried playing Wind Waker? That game is worth it just for the finale with Ganondorf.

Wolf Link was a stupid idea and was boring to play.

Other than that, it was enjoyable. Bosses were way to easy in most cases. Specifically that fire giant guy.

@RJG

Are you mad! The ending ruined it, it was too easy!

I myself have not played TP, but in many peoples opinion it wasn't really that good of a zelda game

NOTE ABOUT TWLIGHTLIGHT PRINCESS: I have not played the gamecube version. My impressions are based on the Wii version.

I got tired swinging my arm around. I was into it for the first hour or two, but then I just wiggled around and he did the same sword swings. Wolf Link was a cool idea executed in a piss poorly and tacked on way. I dreaded the wolf sequences. Yes it has its share of awesome stuff, but its really Ocarina of Time with a new coat of paint.

Link To the Past is far superior. Link should have purple hair.

@Justice:

Come on, how can you not love these lines?

WARNING: SPOILERS! SKIP IF YOU DON'T WANT EPICNESS RUINED.

Ganon: My country lay within a vast desert. When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. And when the moon climbed into the dark of night, a frigid gale pierced our homes. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing... Death. But the winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. I coveted that wind, I suppose.

And then when you finish him off:

Ganon: Ughnn... Heh Heh... The wind... It is blowing...

Ganon is such an emo fag.

Seriously though I will agree, that was a cool moment when you realized he was just a regular dude who had a shitty life.

I enjoyed Twilight Princess. It's the first game since the series went 3D that I've actually played the whole way through. That said, no, it's not the greatest Zelda game. That distinction belongs to Link to the Past.

Number one reason I loved this Zelda game the most. You can swing your sword without stopping. I Think TP was my favorite even though I hated the wolf part, it made me love being just Link even more. However I hated how there was no Ocarina

I do think that Twilight Princess was a very refined version of 3d Zelda and it was pretty great to play. That said I didn't feel the heart that Windwaker had, and it didn't have the originality that Ocarina did back in the day. I love the game, but I think I'm growing a bit tired of the Zelda formula (I love it! But it needs a major upgrade)

Good game though, must have. Its hard for me to say which Zelda game is best though ( I don't think comparing the 2d and 3d games is fair)

To each his own!

I suppose the Wii version just ruined it for me; the constant twinkling of that stupid Navi-substitute drove me insane.

Oh and no, its Link to the Past.

Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game that bored me. The wii waggle got so tedious, the lack of story was never more apparent and it just felt empty. Suffice to say I never finished it.

@RJG:
I thought the ending of The Wind Waker was awesome! Especially the final blow... man that was brutal even with the "kiddy" cell shaded graphics

I thought TP was pretty good, but man A Link to the Past was better. (I say this as one of the ten human beings on earth who thought Wolf Link was cool).

I honestly couldn't get through it. One of these days I'll go back and finish it up, but it just seemed too long and too tedious to me. Maybe I'm just burned out on Zelda.

I enjoyed playing Twilight Princess, but I just didn't feel attached to it as with the previous games. Maybe I just missed playing a child!Link?
