The extent of my hardcoreness would we that I still have my PSX, controller, memory card and Final Fantasy VIII locked up for a rainy day. Other than that I still have my Dreamcast just for Shenmue and Seaman. I'll goto my grave saying Indigo Prophecy and Dreamfall; The Longest Journey are two of the best games of all time.

So I was going to get on CoD with a few friends of mine, load up my 360 go to turn on my mic (two weeks old) and my mic dosen't work. Once again I instantly know the problem and skip straight to being pissed off. I call MS Tech Support and after one rep, one supervisor and 71 minutes (atleast 20 spent on hold) They are going to replace both headsets, but I have to pay for the shipping, but that's much cheaper than a new headset. They are also sending me (another) box for my console that got RRoD'd back in December that I never sent in. They're also sending me a copy of Viva Pinata.

I must say this is the first time I'm not pissed off with M$ tech support. I could understand the first rep and the supervisor, they're sending me a box for my first console (going to my friend when it comes back) and they're going to replace my two mics.

seems like as long as you complain to microsoft about the problems with your console, they will send you shit and replace the broken parts... I must admit despite having a bunch of buddies xbox's redring, Microsoft did a good job in replacing them...

Yeah from now one when my mics break I'm going to call ASAP and bitch, 60 bucks a pop is getting too expensive. I'm going to get a wired mic tomorrow to hold me over. He was looking for a free mic to send me but they didn't have any, perhaps I should have asked for MS points, but I'll take Viva Pinata...

I'm surprised they didnt have a free mic to send you, one of my buddies actually had one break and they sent him one free... he bitched a lot tho.
