Hi all.
Many of you probably don't know me as this is my first C-Blog entry ever, but I'm not exactly new here. I think I just tend to shy out from using my shitty english in front of all you native speakers.
Anyway let's get to the point.
I've noticed some editors posting about Papercrafts recently (at least Collette) so I figured there might be someone actually interested in this.
Papercraft is not actually as hard as it might look. It does take alot of patience and finger dexterity (and glue), sure, but that shouldn't be too much of an obstacle for gamers like us. I encourage anyone with even remote interest to give it a try; you'll be suprised how much fun it actually is to build models of your favorite characters from the ground up.
Here are some models I've managed to build in the past two months: (sorry for the picture quality, I only had a shitty pocket cam and WinPaint to work with)
Final Fantasy IX party:
Kingdom Hearts Cloud:
Kingdom Hearts Secret Boss Kurt Zisa
Please note these pictures are close-ups, they tend to look even better viewed from a little further away when you can't see the seams.
I didn't design any of these my self. You can download the models for free from these sites:
FFIX models:

Kingdom Hearts Models:

It's best to start off with some easier models if you have no experience in this kind of crafts.
These sites host lots of easy-to-assemble videogame themed crafts:

All you need in order to build these is a pair of scissors and/or a paper knife and some glue (and a printer of course).
I'll gladly answer any questions you might have, and maybe even give some tips to get you started, so don't hesitate to ask if you are interested.
I wouldn't get choked up about your English, if you hadn't said anything I would have assumed you were a native speaker.
These are pretty incredible! The Kurt Zisa one is especially impressive. I've dabbled in papercraft before, but nothing on this level. You should get a community blog over at Tomopop, they would love this stuff.
Welcome to Dtoid mate! Make yourself at home, we're making nachos tonight :D
I always have some model I'm working on (currently Auron from FFX), perhaps I could keep my blog updated and post new builds every now and then.
Also, thanks for the suggestion; I might check out the Tomopop blog.
