E309: Resident Evil Archives and Darkside Chronicles Interview

BEWARE, beyond here lie subtitles.

As and official member of the DTOID crew, I wondered in the Capcom booth to interview Matt Dahlgren, the marketing man for Resident Evil. He was nice enough to answer my questions and share a little bit of his personal history with the Resident Evil franchise.



Not included in this video are a few important points to bring up about RE and the Wii:

Archives will be presented in 4:3 ratio and most likely 480p.

Why was Barry Burton omitted from Umbrella Chronicles? Matt had never been asked that question before, and was sad that he didn't have an answer for me.

The control scheme for Archives is just like Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, minus the pointer aiming, of course. The contol stick operates the same in the sense that up makes you go forward, down walks backards, left and right turn, and down + A does a 180 degree turn.

When asked about the possibility of Resident Evil 5 on the Wii, Matt simply replied, "No." He's a no bullshit kind of guy.

Hello, Dtoid community. Some friends convinced me to join and start a C-Blog. So instead of a bland introduction, I decided to showcase a bit of my work from YouTube. The review may be a bit dated, but the video makes me feel warm on the inside.



Another interesting note...I actually uploaded this review to Revver.com, but it was rejected because it contained "Hateful Speech". Figure that one out.
