Wise choice, I think you'll see the blu-ray difference immediately. PSN has taken online console gaming to the next level. Games like God of War 3 and the upcoming Twisted Metal have a depth to their gameplay that just can't be found elsewhere.

If you get a chance to pick up MAG, a lot of us still play the game most every night. It's 256! people online in the same game at the same time! The experience is well worth the cost! :)

(be prepared for long queue times though... though hopefully the devs do something about this in the future. Because there are several different modes and 3 factions, you often have to wait to get into a game. Still, we tend to chat amongst ourselves while waiting).

Uncharted 2 is indeed awesome. Honestly, though, I think the multiplayer gets stale a bit too quickly for my taste... Maybe I just need to play it more (I still think the first Gears is the best multiplayer game I've played this generation, so maybe I'm biased).

Demon's Souls is also awesome, and MGS4 is one of my favorite games ever. I also recommend Valkyria Chronicles if you can find it.

I got MW2, Red Dead, Killzone 2, and BlazBlue that're ready for some hot and steamy multiplayer action.

First of all: Congrats!

Secondly: Do yourself a HUUUUUUGE favor and get you some Ratchet and Clank!

Tools of Destruction should be cheap now. It's successor Quest for Booty is a PSN title for, I think, $15 (also on disc in Europe) and finally A Crack in Time which might be cheap, but it's well worth to pay full price for it.

I see you're focusing on exclusives first. Which is wise and also quite understandable. Uncharted 2 is indeed a must-buy but it isn't necessary to get right now. You need to enjoy the living crap out of Metal Gear Solid 4 first! I hope you'll be as ecstatic as I was when I first played it. Hell I'm still enjoying it although I've beaten it 6 times now.

So yeah, here are a couple of titles I think you should get and I think many PS3 owners will agree:Uncharted, Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, God of War 3 and Valkyra Chronicles. That should keep you busy for a while.

In between those monster titles you could take a look at what the PSN store has to offer. Two ust-buy PSN titles are Shatter and Flower.

And many more I guess. But this'll be enough for now.

I tried to play Valkyria Chronicles. I really did. It just wasn't for me. I liked the characters, the story, and the visuals, I just sucked at the gameplay and didn't enjoy it.

I feel like it had happened to be in a different genre I would have loved it.
