For those who aren't familiar with Steve Napierski's
Dueling Analogs, the strips above and in the gallery below should be an adequate primer for his mix of sometimes absurd, sometimes perverted (but always infrequent) gaming webcomic.
Currently, there is no real schedule for new comics. One or two are usually posted during a normal week, although there have been weeks where a new comic is posted daily.
To improve the timeliness of updates (and presumably the quality of his art), a PayPal donation link has been added on the
front page to help Steve purchase a new Wacom tablet, specifically the
Cintiq 12WX. In his own words:
======================================================================
I've posted a new donation drive on the home page of Dueling Analogs. Basically, I'm
asking for donations to purchase a Cintiq WX12. I've been trying to save up for one
of these for a while, but unforeseen expense followed by unforeseen expense easily
truncated that plan.
The plan is the use of a Cintiq WX12 will greatly increase the productivity for
Dueling Analogs. It will also give me additional freedom to do more elaborate comics
the way I really want them to be done. Plus there are two very big projects that I
need this for to complete them properly (ie. Konami Code Poster and Dueling Analogs:
Book 1).
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to donate. I greatly appreciate it.
...
As an added bonus, the week after I receive my Cintiq WX12 Dueling Analogs will have
five updates that week. Also, anyone who donates $50 or more will receive a printable
custom piece of artwork made with said Cintiq.
======================================================================
So if you enjoy Dueling Analogs, hit their
front page and scroll down for generosity. If anyone can pony up the cash, $50 doesn't sound too bad for some Destructoid-themed
Rejected Mega Man Villians.
Or you could be really sneaky and have Steve design your Dtoid T-shirt entry.
"Achievement Unlocked" is the funniest thing I've seen all day.
I love Dueling Analogs. Its hilarious.
Haha, I like the Beautiful Katamari one.
I featured them on the front page awhile back.
You've got some good memory, Hamza. That was over a year ago.
Never read this comic before might give it a try
It's on my daily musings list of comics. Wish it updated more often, but if it did it would probably not be as funny as it usually is.
I keep seeing these around, I need to check out the site.
