Right on!

I like it alot, but haven't gotten anywhere near finishing it, for other stuff, like Betas I didn't think I'd ever play.

I had a strange impulse (was it the topless chicks?) to purchase this game for full price, which I rarely do nowadays, and when I do, it's usually on Steam. I waited and waited and it never showed up, so I bit the bullet and picked it up at EB. (Gamestop, whatever.) (Funnily enough, I think they accidentally gave me some kind of preorder bonus, as it was only $40, and came with a code for a 'preorder knife'.)

It's a good game. It definitely has some glaring flaws, but I like it. It starts off a little average, but when the next chapter starts up with transporting the race car I started to get excited. It really is a gorgeous game. Unfortunately, school called and I had to put off the game around the halfway mark.

'Roundabout Christmas time I bought GTA 4 for seven bucks on Steam and had a hankering to play some more Saboteur to compare to GTA, which I never properly played. I hacked it to run without the CD (WHY did I have to do that? What a pain!) and got back to rocking and rolling. I'm having at least as much fun with it as I am with GTA. Yeah, it maybe doesn't have as much to do - maybe the hand-to-hand combat is a little underwhelming - maybe running from the Nazis is a little bit on the insane side once you get up to level 3 and 4 - maybe the cars shouldn't control better than GTA's, thematically, but they DO - maybe the black-and-white is a little gimmicky, but going full-color is surprisingly cool. Yeah. This game is totally worth playing. It's FUN!
