Haha! I just wrote one of these for 1up. My hiatus lasted about two days. Hopefully yours does too, because I just read your last blog, and it is a hell of a read.
It is with the most specious of gravity that I bid you a fond adieu. I have a feeling that your future with our movement will be bright.

You weren't always welcomed here with open arms, but I'm glad that you never let that bring you down, and I'm sure that the actual Dtoid community still loved you. The riffraff that comes out of the woodwork whenever a "controversy" comes around doesn't count.

I must also echo that this does indeed suck. Although I seldom completely agreed with your opinions, I always thought you were a great writer with your own unique style. I was always on the lookout for a new Sophie article for that reason, and I'm sad to know there won't be any more from you here.

I didn't always agree with your opinion, but I always loved your writing style and passion! Congrats on whatever new position you've acquired and you'll be missed here! (though hopefully you do occasionally drop us a c-blog!)
You will be missed, I may have disagreed with some of your articles, but they sparked interesting discussions, and the longer you stayed the more I agreed with your writing and enjoyed having you in this community.

I don't like your writing personally, but it's always good to see people contributing and putting themselves out there, so thanks for the memories.
