*pokes* Is this thing on? Oh. Hi. I'm Solatrus (Cogit Latinae. Think Latin, if you don't know the language). Anyway, Aertyr's been bugging me like mad to join this ridiculous place, so here I am.

A bit about me:
Obviously I'm a gamer, or else I'd probably have no interest here. My favorite game series is The Legend of Zelda, and I have played, beaten, and enjoyed (with the exception of Zelda 2... that one I didn't enjoy so much) every single one released here in the states. Yes, I play as Link and Toon Link in Brawl. Enough of that.

I also write electronic music, which is fun as hell. DON'T HATE. And before you ask, no, I don't do LSD, or Acid, or anything like that.

Raiding the Jedi Temple (The Force Unleashed DLC)

So, I've been playing through that Jedi Temple thingy that's up for grabs. It's pretty fun. And hard. Harder than most of the rest of the game, but meh, it's too short. I feel a bit gypped. However, the new playable skins are fun. Playing through the game as Qui-Gon, anyone? :D But Qui-Gon looks weird using Starkiller's stance...

All in all, it was a bit of a binge spending, and I probably should not have done so. Honestly not enough for the price.

And I felt like being a bit of an achievement whore on this game. >_>

Force Unleashed was one of the worst games I have ever played. The fact it got so much praise for physics and AI engines that literally had NO impact on the gameplay is abhorrent.

Never once while trying to fight the atrocious camera in the stale environments did I ever take the time to notice or care if an enemy was flailing in the air realistically or something blew up properly. I was more worried about being attacked by cheap enemies off screen without being able to intuitively control my force powers.

This game has fail written all over it. No amount of free DLC could change that, let alone over-priced bullshit DLC.

@B-Radicate - I don't think I've heard any praise for this game in any manner from anyone after its release. It was hyped before release but unanimously smashed in reviews.

Personally, I think the game is an enjoyable action title, though definitely a disappointment compared to what I was expecting. I still have fun with it, though.

With that said, you're right about the DLC being bullshit in regards to cost and content. Charing for skin packs!? And even then, no additional animations or stances!?

@Skribble and B-Radicate - A bit overkill on the dislike for TFU, eh? I happened to have enjoyed the game. It was fun. even if it wasn't really the greatest game. Isn't that what a game is supposed to be? FUN?!
