Former member funnydale recently posted a rebutal to my epic post YOU FUCKING ASS : This is why we can't have nice things in regards to me calling him out for being a two faced ninny. Well, I was being an immature asshole, and I really do still feel the sameway I did before about this guy.


Now it's time to be cereal for a second. Wait, no, it fact it's time to be serious. Fighting on the internet is retarded. Everyone will agree to that, and when you're on the internet, you tend to post your opinions. Some people will not appreciate things that are said, other people will praise you, everyone knows this as well. There are fanboys, there are trolls, there are some really cool people on the internet, and they tend to stick together for the sake of ...well?


What is it that makes us herd ourselves to this place, a place considered to be the chapel of gaming? A place where not only can you voice an opinion, and interact with not only the community, but the awesome people that run this site as well? funnydale obviously hasn't figured it out, and like an emo kid trying to find acceptance underneath his masscara and scars, he thinks he's found his new fortress of solitude on a new site, along with some other people who don't like the way Destructoid does things.


^ The above is just one man, or many, voicing his opinion about the site. Totally respectable, normal, things to do. BUT when you start running your fingers away from the keyboard to not only tarnish Destructoid's name, and it's community, not to mention our dearest Ron Workman, in the sake of just having an opinion.. well, that's a whole nother bag my friends.


This is what that assjack has apparently done. He has made it clear exactly what he thinks about Destructoid, and has voiced his opinion as very two faced. I'm not going to bash his opinion, even though I think he is lame, and even though I think fighting on the internet IS retarded, here's a clue to why I do what I do.


I'm 21, and I work in an office. Everyone around me is AT LEAST twice my age, and work tends to get very slow. I love videogames, and I love the internets. I believe I may have won a few in my time. You know as much as me we all still :

1) Eat Peanut Butter Jelly sandwiches without crust
2) Watch Sat. Cartoons
3) Be immature when we can
4) Love videogames.

Well at least number 4. So when I found Destructoid, it was a sanctuary for me. A gamers haven, and I haven't given it up yet. I love the site, it's editors : amazing. They almost seem more nerdy than me, and though the community has had a bad reputation on other sites, I couldn't care less, because I am a Destructoid fanboy.


I've gone out of my way to meet some of you, and some of you have gone out of your way to meet me, and there is no site on earth (sans Craiglist) that does this. Some of you are engineers, scientists, government agents, gaybears, and even big corparation managers. It's amazing the amount of intelligence that randomly gathers at this site.


You know.. fuck it. This post has become too long and this twat doesn't deserve any drama, or attention.

I just wanted to let people know of other peoples opinions, because obviously they wanted it heard that badly that they have to abandon the people that he needed another site to get away from whatever it is he's butthurt about. I also want people to know I'm glad I have a hardcore gamers website that will weed out the assholes, even when I'm not here, and thankful for said posts. Posts like this guy helps me appreciate Destructoid even more, and I hope 20 years from now we'll all be at each others throats about the PS9 and the X1080, for the sake of voicing your opinion.
