I always hoped that the fall of Destructoid would look like the setting in Gears of War.
That's a happen, not a happy, but both can work in different ways.
Yeah, I just think a button to bury things would work. Sure, it could be abused, but anyone that did a group bury to a good blog based on the person would get in trouble, so I don't think it would be a problem and seems like the best/easiest solution.
I've been a proponent of the bury method... although that may be the spark that begins epic civil wars. Brother versus brother, spy vs. spy, bury my lulz at wounded knee
I think a bury button would be suck, too much abuse, plus i hate digg.
The c-blogs need to look more like the post on the front page, tags, tabs and chains.

I think those two things would help alot.
This was a clever disguise for a forum post you're supposed to read, and discuss on, cbloggers.
Tags would fix it, but in the mean time, a bury button wouldn't be such a bad idea.
Snaileb, the forums are dead man. I mean, why post your one thing that you think is cool and want to show off in there since noone goes in there anymore? Besides, how is my comment counter gonna go up if noone comments on it?

Aren't they updating the blogs to dispay a "bump" fashion of posting? I heard some other sites use this new high tech option as well, so the sucky topics go down, while the interesting ones remaing a float.

You have to takethe bad with the good, man.Otherwise there would be an imbalance. If there is a noob who come n here with a "oh hai guise i am noo here you seem purdy cool" post, just spam his blog with 'fail' comments. He is likely to never make any blog again.
I don't see anythng worng with the cblogs, maybe this surge of bad posts means a rise in popularity, or just a phase. Either way it;s bound to pass.

I don't know about that. If the same method was used on trollers, you end up helping them out... and we have too many people to actually not say a thing to that person... someone usually fails and gives in to the abuse.
This topic is more than just newb blogs.. it speaks of many problems with the cblogs.

I just happen to hate the forums. I have to re-login every time I want to use them, and the interface is rather clunky. I'd much rather remain a clog lurker.

I don't have that problem I guess. It only logs me out when I clean mah cookies and history and junk, so I only have to relog in when I clean.
