I don't know how I feel about this. Here I am at work, quietly fapping to Destructoid and various forms of fappery, when all of a sudden I click My Blog and start writing the title. Where did this come from? How did it come to be? Just plain why.
Well, I don't really know. I'm not editing it or even have a game plan for this blog, but if there are similar games I can think of and if enough people will be kind enough to join me, then I might make another. Who knows?
Well well my friend, it's been a long time. We were so good to each other, and we even made sweet melody every now and again. There are even
imitators of you, and it has only been a year, and what a year it's been. I'm talking about Gears of War, the essential 'Halo Killer' or the multiplayer game I love. It's given some people the chance to take over the world with a buddy, and others it has
chewed them up and spit them out. There's alot of great things this game used to offer to the new generation of gaming, whether it was the pretty graphics, the satisfying pop of the head shots, or even the good old chainsaw gun we've all come to know and love. There's alot of great multiplayer games that have been extinct since the latest FPS month, of course I'm talking about Halo, Call of Duty, Team Fortress, and the not so online Bioshock.
In a drunken stupor I put down the drum sticks and my guitar, took out Rock Band and slapped in Gears of War. This is nothing new, people who know me know I love Gears. It was only until recently I have come to understand that there are only two kinds of people left : The Veterans and the noobs. It's been prime time to boot this game up now, because 100 headshots isn't easy when everyone is down the street while you're still trying to figure out the learning curve.
So this week I'll be playing Gears alot more than usual, and I would like someone or
anyone to join me! I don't nessecarily need a team, but misery loves company. This week I'll be playing Gears on and off, and the changes I've delt with that comes with an old Multiplayer game. If anyone wants to join me, I'd love that.
GT : Snaileb.
Note : I was going to do Prey, even for next week, but no one is on the server! It's literally a ghost town.
The first of the month I'll be playing said dead multiplayer game, and at the end of the month I'll post my experinces, the people that still play, the patches they've introduced to change the gameplay, and any new downloadable content, whether it's all been for better or worse.
If I can get more people to play, I can get more games to play. Like Prey, no one fucking plays it, and if you go to quick match it won't send you to one because there are none. If we could get a full room in there it would change that.. for sure.
Alot of the games will be crappy, and probably have to rent them.
GT: Junko Inc
And I'm down to get some people on teh Prey.
