How many of you grew up around this era? Many of the CBM were in multiple discussions about the Power Rangers.. I mean, you know.. after we were done bending girders with our minds and crushing towns with our cocks of course.

Well I was inspired!

How were we mezmorized by this?!

After realizing you're childhood was a fictional cardboard lie, what the hell do you do?!

It's ok, Green Ranger commentary will make it all better.

Actually, I really didn't get into the Power Rangers. I was a bit beyond this kind of Saturday Morning hoohaa when this really hit big stateside.

GI Joe and the Smurfs were where it's at!

Man, I watched the first few seasons of this back in school. It was terrible as hell, but it had moving images. Those VHS tapes were superb shitty birthday gifts to give someone you didn't care for ;)

Just happened to read up on what I missed back in the day at TVrage's season guide:

TMNT, GI Joe, Duck Tales, Tale Spin, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck(I would pay gold to find these DVD's) were all part of my daily routine and weekend habits. Along with sneaking those beers from my dad.

I was living with Japanese exchange students when power rangers hit it big here. They would get all pissed off because they spliced the crappy Amercian actors inbetween the Man-In-A-Monster-Suit footage that was the payoff for 22 minutes of watching Bulk and Skull.

Weren't they eventually killed or something? There were so many f'ing versions of the Power Rangers I lost count.

Power Rangers ruled when I was a kid. Not so much anymore though the movie still holds a special place in my heart.

Power Rangers in Space did get surprisingly deep though for a little while. Well...surprising for Power Rangers.

Side note: Bionic Six was the most awesomist cartoon ever made, period.
