Hope you get the most grabs!
Shaky cam is shaky, but giant monsters are pretty cool. 11/10.
I feel kind of ripped off, and if they don't show the monster within the first 30 minutes of the film I'll be f*cking pissed.
I hope they don't show it 'till near the end. I like being kept in suspense like that. However, usually with movies like this, once they show the monster it doesn't live up to your expectations and you are thinking "wow, thats fucking stupid looking."
But yeah, I've been stoked for this movie since I seen the trailer a month or so back. Can't beat a giant monster movie.
We've already seen this, without all the news footage at the beginning, and all the statue of liberty picture-taking.
I'm still psyched about this movie, but for all the viral they've done, we've seen so little actually happen. I hope it's not because they really don't have anything to show. I mean, if it's JUST a monster movie, let's own up to that and let me enjoy a stupid monster movie.
Did anyone here know, by the way, the Alien vs. Predator 2 is going to be amazing?
My negativity aside, keep up the good work, Snail! The fewer sites I have to visit to get my geek info on movies, games, and music, the better!
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'm always filtering my bookmarks for news on movies so if you guys keep reading I'll keep posting.
Oh man, I really need this movie NOW
I want to believe it will be great, and I'll admit it does look very interesting. But something tells me this will be a reverse Blair Witch..I'll explain.
Blair Witch: Boring most of the movie, shakey cam, some suspense thinking it was real, not knowing what is out there, semi-payoff or "best part" at the end, but underwhelming.
Cloverfield: Suspense or "best part" in the begining, same shakey cam and not knowing what is out there, payoff at the end that isn't what you would have hoped.
However cinical that sounds I do have an urge to see it just because of the "what the hell is it" factor.
I'm with Corak, and not just because of the avatar. But for some reason I'm having flashbacks of Godzilla's(Roland Emmerich's POS) advertising campaign. I think once the "monster" is revealed, it'll go downhill.
