Besides, I've seen alot of movie blogs here and enjoy reading all of them. Well you didn't come to hear me blog about blogs. On with the goods! First..
The Hulk is getting saucy. Apparently there's a Iron Man and Hulk crossover, but only in the Hulk movie. YES I know I posted this before (back in Janurary. Ohhhh I'm good), but back then it was only a rumor for the new Avengers film. Now it's been confirmed! From the article :
They also confirmed that Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark will appear in the movie and they showed a clip of Downey Jr. walking into a seedy bar and meeting General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt) to talk about his "problem."
Now admittingly, I have never picked up The Spirit, but you guys know me. I'm a comic fanatic! So anyways, I guess I should pick it up. Besides, anything Frank Miller does makes me remember why I have a penis. His manly, over-the-top action titles such as Sin City, 300, and not to mention his awesome comic book style definitely makes me want to stab stuff with my penis. Is there anything more manly? Last, the final Joker pics! Surprisingly these are actually old pictures. They were leaked on April 7th, but were quickly taken down the same day! Luckily your buddy Snail has taken the liberty of not deleting all his old junk on the ol photobucket account.

Not sure about The Spirit - seems to have jack all to do with Eisner's original creation. Denny Colt did not talk like Dwight Macarthy, for one. It's a shame, because Eisner became very much like Miller's mentor towards the end of his life. I wonder what he would think if he saw his goofy, well-meaning adventure comic turned into this overly-dark noir-tinged FRANK MILLER movie. Maybe it's bias, but I'm unwilling to give Miller benefit of doubt since the giant cockpunch that was DK2.
As for The Dark Knight photos - yes, please. There's literally nothing that has been released on this movie that hasn't made me squeel like a little girl. This is the one movie this summer I'm willing to bet all on and fully expect it to meet my expectations.
As soon as I heard about the Hulkbuster Ironman armour, I was sold. All they need to do is add in some Spidey and Wolverine and I'm sorted for the rest of the season.
I'm a bit disappointed that the Iron Man/Hulk cross-over is restricted to the Hulk movie, but then again that makes total sense in regards to what type of story the Iron Man movie on its own is trying to portray.
But that bit of news did bring a smile to my face. I wasn't really going to check out Hulk, but seeing as I'm such an Iron Man whore, I guess I have to now.
Love that Spirit trailer.. Also, wasn't Sam Jackson supposed to cameo as Nick Fury in both the Hulk and Iron Man movies as well? Or was that just a rumor?
Jackson apparently filmed scenes as Fury for Iron Man, but the scenes have apparently been cut. Rumor is that they'll show up in the deleted scenes. SHIELD is mentioned by name, however.
