Oh yes, you heard that right!! I had to hold back on putting 10 exclamation points at the end of the freaking title! Oh please let this happen.
Sorry.. about that. Anyways, while Marvel movie studios are busy pumping out those money making flicks we all love, there are always direct-to-DVD features that never get the big screen chance. Some of these would be Iron Man, Doctor Strange, The Avengers, and even Black Cat.
From the "grapevine" : "Marvel Zombies" began as a comic book mini-series and featured "zombified" versions of pretty much all of your favorite superheroes. Set in an alternate universe (natch), the series most recently introduced Ash (from the "Evil Dead" franchise) to do battle with the likes of undead Wolverine, Spidey, etc.(Click link for more information)
Later in the week, I'll give you my review on the entire Marvel Zombies Action Figure set, Marvel Zombies VS Army of Darkness, and even the recently new print of Marvel Zombies 2, the sequel, just to celebrate this dark occasion!
To tide you hungry superhero zombie lovers, here's a pretty cool fan made video featuring Marvel Zombies. (My Zombie Spiderman cos-play was better!)
Why does every schmuck with a video camera assume they have a "production company"?
And then try to copyright their work when they don't own any rights to the material they're using?
I'm sorry, blog hijacking, but that crap bothers me, because it's someone that has no practical sense of what they make. You can't assign yourself a copyright to something you don't own. That's retarded. To do that, you're opening yourself up to a lawsuit from the actual copyright holder because they will sue the shit out of you to protect their claim on that copyright to keep it from being disputed in court.
If you're going to make a fan video, leave out the copyright shit. You have no right to that. That's worse than stealing MP3's.
Fully Animated? I wonder what it will look like. I've seen the comics before, never read them but the imagery is quite striking. I think it's beautiful in a scary kind of way. I don't know what happens in the story, but it looks sick.
Wow! zombies are sooo cool. Havn't read the original Marvel Zombies, but read Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness, that was ace, so assuming that MZ was great as well. Look forward to your future Marvel Zombie posts : )
As long as they keep it based on Marvel Zombies 1, and keep it for funnzies, and not the currently on going 2, then I'm excited. 2 so far is just alright, Marvel is milking the cow dry with Zombies 2, but I'm still buying them!
A Dead Rising like game for Marvel Zombies.. or any kind of game for Marvel Zombies would make me piss myself.
Velcro - I'm actually loving the new series, Marvel Zombies 2. They're tying up loose ends, and I'm currently on 4 of 5. I think the zombies versus zombies battle is awesome.. unlike the much less fair battle of the zombies versus cosmic zombies at the end of the first Marvel book.
I'm with you there Snail, except I would've put the twenty plus exclamation marks. This is fuckin tight, I've been dreaming of a Marvel Zombies movie, especially after getting the collection books. I just hope it's done well. That's the only thing I'm scared of.
They actually produced an official line of Marvel Zombies action figures?
I've seen a lot of fan made sculptures, but I didn't know there was an official line coming out. I'm out of the toy news loop. If only there were a blog that could keep me up to date...
I wish I could afford all the miniatures, but I'm just now getting the hard-cover of Marvel Zombies and Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness.
If it's the same quality as the Dr. Strange DVD, it should be pretty nice. Of course, I wouldn't say that Doctor Strange was great, but it was definitely better than what was otherwise out last year. At least it's not DragonLance - Dragons of Autumn Twilight *shivers and dies a bit more inside*

I fear they will butcher it like they did the others, but yet, some Marvel Zombies is better than no Marvel Zombies.
And if they eat the surfer, well even tho he's one of my favorite characters, I have to say that is better than no eaten surfer.
Right?

Add Marvel to Capcom as developers and maybe we would have a Dead Rising: Marvel edition.

Totally agree. Anyone who has a 'credits' section after their stupid anime music video is just being pretentious.
